Bamburgh Barn is a Grade II listed home in the heart of Bamburgh. Blending historical charm with modern architecture to offer truly astonishing panoramic views of Bamburgh Castle.

Having welcomed guests since 2014, its renovation in 2024 has unlocked the Barn's full potential.

Gated parking. Exposed beams. Open plan living space with underfloor heating and log fire. 3 bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom. 1 x king, 2 x twin room.

The space
Think: Grade II meets modern.

Top tip: enjoy a morning espresso as you sit on the steps and gaze up at the castle.

Enjoy: the view (oh, and the private, off-street gated parking!)

Love: staying at the Barn as much as we do!

Castle views from each of the open plan living zones and 2 of the 3 bedrooms.

3 bedrooms, all ensuite (2 have showers, the other has a bath and over bath shower - great for small kids). Further guest loo.

Triple glazing. Underfloor heating in the living space with adjustable radiators in each bedrooms.

Single storey - great for those with small kids (the gated parking helps too!)

Outdoor space designed by John Davies Landscape architects - featuring natural stone, Corten steel new planting and mature trees. Fermob outdoor table.

Other things to note
The Barn has been hosting visitors to Bamburgh for 10 years and we stay regularly ourselves. We decided to list on Air BnB in June 2024

All linen bed linen and bathroom towels are provided

We are a young (!) professional couple with two small children, living in Basel since 2012. We have owned Bamburgh Barn since 2014 and have offered direct bookings since then. From late 2024, the Barn has also been available to book via Airbnb. With family in Bamburgh, Beadnell and Newcastle, we spend around 5 weeks a year at the Barn ourselves. We hope you’ll love it as much as we do!
