Zen retreat! Wake up to bird song through the skylight, lounge on the deck under the trees with a cup of coffee. The cabin is a true get-away! Nestled in the Brockley conservation area, you would never guess that you're only 20 minutes from London Bridge, 15 minutes from Canary Wharf, and 30 minutes from central London. Super cozy and--did we mention? Romantic!

The space
Charming, cosy, and peaceful, this A-Frame cabin in the woods is the perfect place for a romantic getaway. Snuggle up in the comfy Murphy bed, and morning will greet you with a stunning view of the trees without even having to leave the bed. (Did we mention it's romantic?)

When you muster the energy to start your day, arises the opportunity to have a delicious Nespresso coffee. We have several cafes for breakfast in the area and a Saturday farmers market just 5 mins walking distance from the cabin.

Take a seat in one of the deck chairs or at the picnic table while you have your coffee and enjoy the view--you will see lots of birds and squirrels and probably meet the neighbourhood cats. If you're lucky, you may even see a fox that lives in the area and visits us during the wee hours of the morning. As the cabin is surrounded by beautiful trees and located in a nature conservation area, we do invite a couple of 'daddy long legs' spiders during summer. They are harmless and infact keep other bugs in check. We make every effort to ensure that all cobwebs are cleaned before you check in. If you do see one and don't like their company, please let us know and we will guide them back into their habitat.

The cabin has a dining/work desk, a sofa that converts into your bed, a television, and an entire wall of windows that look out onto a sun-dappled forest.

Consider the cabin your home away from home. Please enjoy the television, books, coffee, and tea during your visit.

We live in the main flat across the garden over the summer, so while the cabin will be private, you may see us across the garden. We do occasionally host Airbnb guests in the flat while we are travelling. The shared garden has a natural divider between the flat and the cabin for extra privacy.

Guests will have access to the entire cabin and the attached decking. The garden is shared with the main flat. The path to the cabin is shared and takes you past outside the main flat.

Finally, if you have your heart set on escaping to the Zen cabin, we recommend booking sooner rather than later. It tends to fill up, especially around holidays and other events.

Brockley is a centre of the South London arts scene, lots of creative types live here, lending the area a quirky laid back vibe. There’s enough entertainment to keep even the most fleet-footed residents happy at weekends. Wonderful views of London can be enjoyed from the top of nearby Telegraph Hill Park and Hilly Fields Park. Add in the characterful cafes, top notch restaurants and the weekly farmers' market.
