2 weeks agoOur stay at Henbant was short yet rejuvenating. A small sustainable farm immersed in nature with a cosy feel. Close to snowdonia and a few minute drive from the local village, but far enough away to feel like you're off grid. Would recommend to those who desire to have a break from a conventional and detached way of living. Thankyou, we will be coming back!

2 weeks agoHad a lovely 2 nights in the wooden yurt. Fitted 3 of us (2 adults, 1 teenager) perfectly well - felt spacious after having been in a caravan for over a week! The people working on the farm were all friendly and helpful, special shout out to Nellie who baked a mean banana loaf, made excellent pizzas, and splendid coffees. Very welcoming atmosphere, very relaxed. Lovely huge barn space to sit in, read, eat, play. Facilities were basic but functional; compost loo and a lukewarm shower attached to the yurt, other loos and showers were dotted about the site. We were looking for some quiet, reflective family time and this was the perfect place to get that. Very much enjoyed our time here.

2 weeks agoWhat a magical space Henbant is. The longhouse was considerably bigger than I had imagined with a very comfortable bed and the hut toasty. The ceiling is simply stunning! It is in its own private setting - other guests walking by does not feel intrusive- though some blinds would have helped me sleep more at night! But it is very quiet! There’s also a great hot water shower. The sauna was an added bonus as we had it to ourselves, truly peaceful hidden in the trees with a fab cold water barrel to cool off in, and it was ready at a very high temp when we arrived. The team I met were lovely. The whole atmosphere is about trust and respect for nature and sharing a kind gentle approach to life - the shop sells everything you could need for a week’s visit. My career is in gardening and I was blown away by the incredible fruit and veg. Someone really knows their stuff! Best of luck to you all. What a wonderful alternative lifestyle you have created and are passing on to new generations ❤️
