Lovely peaceful spot, great river swimming, beautiful cabin, wonderful host! Feeling refreshed and revitalised.

Our stay with Phoebe and Tom in Oak Hut was simply fantastic. The place is incredibly idyllic and inspiring, one of those places where you automatically slow down. The River Tay flows right in front of the cabin, and we loved sitting outside in the evenings and watching the mist rise over the water. There was also the best "sheep's cinema" every day. The cottage itself was perfect for us: a very comfortable bed, a wonderfully warm blanket and a kitchen that was perfectly adequate for two people. We stayed for five days and still had so much left to discover in the area. Aberfeldy is worth a visit, especially Glen Lyon Coffee Roasters and the Tweed Mill! The best thing, however, is that the Oak Hut invites you not to be constantly running from A to B, but to pause, enjoy the landscape and really immerse yourself in this beautiful place. We would have loved to have stayed longer!

We had a brilliant time staying in Phoebe and Tom’s cabin! The setting is absolutely amazing and the cabin was comfortable and fitted out beautifully with everything we needed. We loved swimming in the Tay while at the cabin, and it was a great base to explore the area. I would very much recommend a stay!

Phoebe’s place felt like a little peice of heaven. Being surrounded by the woodlands and greenery from every window and having a little lake to wonder down to was just everything we was looking forward to. The firepit/bbq grill was perfect and so was the patio for eating dinner or having a morning coffee in nature. It felt very special to us and we would love to come again sometime. We cannot thank you enough!
