Chalet Bärenegg: a small pearl on Lake Thun

Chalet Bärenegg is wonderfully embedded in the landscape of the Bernese lakes and mountains. Inside it is small with little storage space, but it has pretty niches to linger outside: two seats with a grill, outdoor sauna and for the little ones a lawn, sandbox and slide. In the heart of the Emmental, the tiny house/barrel house is in a quiet location right next to an old Emmental farm with wonderful views of the entire Bernese Alps. The barrel cabin offers individuals as well as 2 to 4 people a great place to stay. In the farmhouse there is a furnished kitchen, toilet and shower available (approx. 65 meters away). Right next to the accommodation is a hot tub with massage jets and LED lighting for free use.

Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. Sleeping in the greenhouse means being very close to the plants. A good bed awaits you and a warm stove lets you comfortably enjoy the time you spend with us. The house in the greenhouse is very well insulated and has a nice large wood-burning stove and a small electric stove. The walls are open with many windows. For privacy, it has thick curtains everywhere.

Our guesthouse is next to our farm. It's in the countryside but only a 10-minute-drive away from Lucerne city. You've got a wonderful view of the mountain Rigi and mount Pilatus. It's a new and modern apartment with only one room and a lovely gallery. So it's an ideal place to stay for a couple or a small family (no separate bedroom!). In the bathroom there's a bathtub and a shower. You've got a good equipped kitchen.
