I like this hotel very much. The location is very good. You can drift at the bridge by the river and stay in the hotel directly. It is also very convenient and delicious. The only drawback is that every room has air conditioning and hot water, so you can ask before you check in.

Wiwi was very helpful. A detailed description of all the waves and location. And Wiwi organized a guided surf tour for our family by car and boat free of charge for the first day of our visit. Wiwi answered all of our questions (we asked many) and always responded within an hour. The staff at Pondak OMA was very kind and accommodated our children their needs by cooking what they liked. Laundry service and unlimited tea, coffee and water onsite included in the stay. Pick up and drop off at airport included and in 2 trips with staff member staying with our luggage and many surfboards at airport. Pondak OMA is located 5 minutes away by scooter from Dylan’s right and One Tong, 15 minutes from Alus Alus. Great location, kind staff, Wiwi is very helpful. Very comfortable beds, good food, scooter rental onsite. Would definitely recommend. Terima Kasih!

Great value for money. Not fancy but has all the basics. Helpful communication before we arrived, friendly staff, awesome food (we had breakfast included, then paid for lunch & dinner, they were flexible on timing). Motorbikes with board racks available for rent. Pondok Oma is in a quiet rural area on the edge of a bay. It’s between Dylan’s surf break (about 3 mins drive), and lots of other South coast breaks. Wiwi arranged surf board transport from Medan via driver & ferry, which was cheaper than flying it and useful for storage while doing other things. Would be much cheaper than flying if you have more than 1 board (domestic flight pay per board). Allow 2 days for delivery.

Fantastic location overlooking the river and surrounded by lots of greenery. The host is so friendly, helpful and responsive. He looked after me before, during and after the stay.

Fantastic bungalow! Cozy, clean, quiet in nature. Borja and Yunyun are great hosts! You can snorkel right outside the front door at a beautiful coral reef. And the restaurant serves delicious food! I can recommend everyone to come here.

Susanti and Robi were amazing hosts. They were responsive, helpful and friendly. The cabin was basic but had everything you needed and the air conditioning was a real bonus. It was quiet and peaceful which was exactly what we were after. The location was fantastic for snorkelling which is why we stayed on this side of the island. They arranged a 3 hour boat trip for us to go to 3 different snorkel spots where we saw the most diverse range of tropical fish we have ever seen. But the snorkelling straight off the wharf was also great. The water was warm and very calm. Olala restaurant next door was convenient and the staff were friendly. The view looking over the water was simply awesome. Otherwise Iboih Beach is a short walk away for more places to eat or to get snacks. Susanti is passionate and has big plans for the accommodation. Cannot recommend highly enough.

We were very much appreciated and had a very great time overall! The bungalows are simple and clean, you have a very suitable terrace with a hammock and a beautiful view where you could relax very nicely and listen to nature. Right next to it is the Olala Cafe where you can eat delicious and inexpensive. It was also very nice in such a place to chat with a German host and a host, Martin and Santi, where you could get tips and at the same time learn about the place. We would definitely recommend the dolphin tour! It was a place to relax and experience at the same time! And so far the highlight of our backpacking trip! Second year we visit Santi Garden Around 10 different and well maintained bungalows situated on a slope close to water in a green and lush garden in a peaceful and silent area walking distance from the village The host Susanti is a gem,takes very good care of her guests,always time for a chat always close to a smile ,always helpful and she has good help from Martin and Robi to run the place There’s a nice restaurant nearby with seaview and the chef at our visit made delicious dishes A lovely place to spend some days

Wonderful stay at ipah and Marc beach house. It was perfect. The house is amazing, perfect to chill and relax. The localisation is the best, so many empty surfspot around. Marc knows well the island and have always good advice of what to do and where to surf. Super clean and great food with big quantity. Super arranging with everything, they always have a solution. Definitely the best place to stay in simeulue. Thanks very much we all enjoyed it and we will definitely come back !
