It is about 3 km to Marstal itself with shopping, cafes, buses, etc. The house is Ommel's oldest and is located just 450 meters from a lovely beach. Both the island sea trail and bike routes start nearby and buses are free on the island.

There is also one of the best golf courses in Europe on Skjoldnæs, only about 15 minutes' drive from the farm.
