A lovely place half in and half out of the forest and no wicked witches in sight.

Gina was a great host, everything exceeded my expectations. Place was perfect for my 4 day Masters trip, great scenery especially if you are a horse lover. Would highly recommend if in the Augusta/Aiken area.

All the comforts of home in a peaceful setting. This quaint barn cottage is beautifully decorated and so very comfortable. We really enjoyed being able to have our horses just outside in the well-maintained paddocks. Located in the Aiken horse district so one can ride directly from the property onto wide, sandy roads with very little traffic to the Hitchcock Woods trail system. Note to horse owners, trailer parking was a little tight but doable. Claire and Desiree have created a lovely spot for people and horses. Highly recommend staying here.

We had wonderful weekends stay at the barn apartment. Andrea and Cecilia are great and very hospitable hosts. The surrounding grounds are a lovely place to relax and forget about daily life and the on-site restaurant was an unexpected bonus. The trail riding was a great experience, and I would highly recommend.

Very homey and cozy place. Loved the rural setting just a short drive from town. The cleanest place we have ever stayed in. We came for the Master's and it was only a short drive. Had a great time! Hope to return! Thank you Debbie!

Carol's little house in the woods is absolutely wonderful. She has thought of everything her guests might need. The space is tastefully decorated with just enough art and decor to make it feel like home. I loved that I could do laundry and especially enjoyed the cozy bed. I hope to return to this rental next time I'm in Aiken. I can't imagine staying anywhere else!

Our hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay was relaxing and worry free. They even took time to pet sit our sweet boy when I had to leave him to go in to work. Beautiful, peaceful setting. Loved our stay and would definitely recommend to others.

Debbie and her husband, Harry, are delightful and caring hosts. The place is quaint and absolutely spotless! It is exactly what we were looking for!

We had a wonderful 10 days stay with our horses! It was so convenient to be a few feet away from the barn and able to see them in their round pens. The house was spacious and comfortable, we will definitely make the trek down again. Tons of great food in Aiken and so many horsey things to do!

Excellent space to relax. Very clean, nice furnishings, comfortable beds and great kitchen. Christine was an excellent host and very responsive with any questions we had. Aiken is a cool little town and we enjoyed walking around; lots of good restaurants. Look forward to booking again next year.

Great place to stay with our two dogs. Lovely and spacious. Full sized appliances including washer and dryer were so nice! Would definitely stay here again!

Mimosa was a beautiful home away from home! We were never without answers to our questions, got local recommendations for restaurants and walks/ hikes, and, of course, got some time to visit the barn and horses. The house was immaculate. It was clean, organized, and (my favorite) left plenty of space to place our things (e.g. clean coffee table, side tables, and counters). The ability to walk out back and see the amazing barn and visit the horses was more than worth choosing this location. Christy was very kind with her time, balancing showing us around and giving us space. I highly recommend this location for anyone who is looking to relax and explore horse town, USA!

This place, and the host, is a GEM. It was very clean, super organized, and so welcoming. It's small, but thoughtfully appointed and very peaceful. There's also a beautiful pony outside as a roommate! The surroundings were also beautiful and peaceful.

We loved staying here! It’s absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. The apartment is awesome and has everything you need. Joy and her husband are wonderful hosts, and Ranger is so cute. We would definitely stay here again.

Kelly and Joe’s place was gorgeous! The pictures don’t even do it justice. We stayed here for the Masters, and it was the perfect location—a smooth drive to/from Augusta, and then we got to enjoy the quiet of the Shed in the evenings and the walkability of Aiken with its great restaurants in our spare time. Kelly and Joe’s instructions were clear, the house was pristine (and I’m a clean freak), and they even left a few treats for our arrival. An added bonus were the horses behind the Shed—our friendly “neigh”bors 😁 We’d love to stay here again!

This is a little slice of heaven -- inside it is a carefully appointed, quiet space with great WiFi and all the amenities. The view outside is beautiful horses, a gorgeous barn and meticulously cared-for paddocks, property and facilities.
