Holiday rentals with beach access in Akaroa Harbour

This location in Akaroa is perfect. The view from the deck could be a painting you would hang in your living room. The layout of the apartment and decorations are very nice, obviously an owner with good taste. The town has plenty of good restaurants and the setting is soft and romantic. This was our second time to rent this 2 bedroom unit and we would never stay anywhere else.

We had a wonderful time at Denise and Regs place and they made us very welcome. Wonderful spot, beautiful garden and great trail path which was such fun to explore. Accommodation was perfect and all we wanted and would have love to stay longer. Loved the local area so picturesque and beautiful

Fantastic stay at Lana’s place. Great location right opposite the beach, but the icing on the cake was all the thoughtful touches and the attention to detail…..All those little things you need… she had thought of them all. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We will definitely be recommending this cute wee place to all our friends.

A lovely apartment, great location and Jackie had excellent communication. She even let us know that the apartment was ready early so we could check in sooner, which was a big help.

The perfect accommodation for a couple + 2 kids. Very close to everything while away from main street noise. Immaculately clean and tidy with comfortable beds and furniture. Would definitely rebook.

What a wonderful place to stay- and wonderful hosts too! Comfortable, cozy and had everything we needed. Great location as well - next to green spaces and near the ocean. Very easy to get into the city too. Can easily recommend to others.

The Airbnb is nice and pretty big with views of the bay. It has a lot of amenities that a lot of our other airbnbs didn’t have. It had a dedicated filtered water tap, a dryer (most Airbnb’s in NZ only have washers), electric blankets etc. Do note that the drive up to the home is relatively steep and on a gravel path, parking for a large vehicle would be quite tricky as well.

Danielle was a responsive and friendly host. We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the beautiful surrounds of Sumner and delicious bakery and bar close by!

We would recommend this place. We stayed here for one night as a group of four (if you're coming with four people, two of you will be sleeping on a sofa bed). The host reached out in advance to ask if we wanted the sofa bed prepared, which we confirmed. However, upon arrival, we had to set it up ourselves. We found the necessary bedding and blankets in the bedroom closet, but we weren’t entirely sure if they had been freshly changed, as they seemed slightly used. Despite that, our overall experience was positive and without major issues. The house is within walking distance of a beautiful beach and pier, which we really appreciated. Thank you for the stay!

Our family two adults and two daughters had a great mini break to this house. Even though the weather wasn’t great we found this house easy to hang out in while it rained. Lots of thoughtful touches and games and colouring for the kids along with lovely modern features. We had a great time in a lovely, warm and well equipped house. Stunning scenery from most all of the rooms!! Comfortable area to explore Christchurch in a more natural setting with surfer-watching every morning and afternoon! Thank you for our stay in your lovely home! Highly recommended!

Wonderful, lovely decor. Beds were comfortable, the kitchen was really nice. We had a relaxing stay.

We loved our stay at The Little Blue Cottage. It’s in a gorgeous garden setting with abundant birdlife. Inside is spacious, oozing stylish comfort. Great bathroom, comfortable bed with lovely linen sheets, and a well-designed kitchen with quality equipment. It had turned a bit chilly when we arrived in Akaroa, so the wood burner was much appreciated! Would love to stay again in this inviting and peaceful cottage.

A great place to stay! Host was responsive, place was easy to find with good parking. House was just that, a house, everything you need and very comfortable. Enough space to hang out in the evening and easy to get to from Rangiora where we were visiting. Everything was clean and tidy, would recommend!

Beautiful location and views. And very cozy with the fire roaring. Had a wonderful time on our first family holiday. Very relaxing and peaceful would definitely visit again. Great communication by Amy and very sweet to have some local cheese wedding in the fridge for us .
