Villa Kaltio: cabin with traditional Finnish sauna

Our small cottage with sauna, located in the center of Äkäslompolo village in Lapland, along the old reindeer trail, is an excellent destination for one or two people. In the sauna of the cottage, you can enjoy the steam of a traditional wood-fired sauna. All the village's services are within walking distance and buses to the airport or train station leave from the courtyard of a nearby hotel a couple of hundred meters away. Newly completed cottage in Äkäslompolo on a plot bordering the forest. Located in a quiet location but still close to services. The cottage has a spacious kitchen/living room combination, two bedrooms and a loft. Cozy sauna and bathroom combination. Beds for 6 people, if necessary, the loft can accommodate at least two more people on the mattress spaces. A baby cot is available for a small child if needed. Linens and towels, as well as final cleaning, are available at an additional cost.

From the cottage you can go directly to the trails for skiing, cycling or snowshoeing. If you are into freeriding, you can go straight to the two best fells, Kesänki and Kellostapuli, and at the end of the day, ski to the cottage to relax. Welcome!

Beautiful, spacious and cosy lodge. Great location! Village centre and ski buss stop are in walking distance. Skiing tracks are nearby. Linen, towels and cleaning include the price! In the first floor there are one bedroom with double bed, kitchen area, sofa, sauna, bathroom, tv and fireplace. In the second floor there are tv area, sofa bed, one single bed and one double bed or two single beds. Spacious back terrace opens to the forest. There are one parking space with heating.
