At the same time, you can access the bustling city of Morioka in just 60 minutes by car, making it a very convenient base for sightseeing in the three prefectures of Iwate, Aomori, and Akita in the Northeast. We recommend using a private vehicle to enjoy a relaxing vacation. The APPI Snow Mountain Resort area has shops, restaurants, and convenience stores, and there is also a supermarket about 20 minutes away by car. There are also great hot spring areas such as Matsukawa Onsen, and Hachimantai Ski Resort and Shimokura Ski Resort are also nearby. Breakfast is included.Why don't you put yourself in an environment rich in nature and relax a little bit.More than 2 nights is recommended. About the Omagari Fireworks Festival (Daisen City) on August 31st Traffic is very crowded and there will be a lot of traffic on the day. The time indicated by Google map can not come from the fireworks display venue to our inn in 1 hour and 14 minutes.It takes 3-5 hours on that day.The fireworks display will probably end or arrive at Katasumi as early as 1 o'clock at night and around 2 o'clock.If you're making a reservation for that date, please understand this before booking.Please note that it is not possible to pick up and drop off by car.　

Halcoya Hanare, an inn to enjoy the trees

Shizukuishi Town in Iwate Prefecture is a tourist destination where you can enjoy Koiwai Farm, Lake Goshiki, ski resorts, and hot springs. 　Minpaku Halcoya is located near Lake Goshiki, overlooking Mt. Iwate. This facility was built using trees from the town to allow people to experience the warmth of living with wood.   　If you are interested in Shizukuishi life, want to relax in nature, enjoy time with family and friends in a different space than usual... please come and visit us. Halcoya Hanare is a separate building from Halcoya, and is an owner-less, entire home rental. This is a small, newly built house that can accommodate up to 3 people. * Please note that Halcoya Hanare does not currently have WiFi.

Kakunodate guest house Choux

It is a dormitory type guest house using a trailer house. About 3 hours on the Akita Shinkansen from Tokyo, 6 minutes on foot from Kakunodate Station. There is also parking. No meals are provided, but a communal kitchen and lounge are provided as public space. There is a supermarket, convenience store, restaurants and etc. within walking distance. We have shower room, but you can go to the nearby hot spring facilities. There is free WI-FI and rental e-bikes are being prepared in green season.

Newly Built! Spacious Modern Organic House

It is a newly built house where you can feel the warmth of wood and the sunshine. On a clear day, you can see the view of Mt. Chokai. We recommend you to rent a car at Yokote Station or take a taxi. It takes about 5min. There is a convenience store (2min walk), a supermarket (5min walk), and a pharmacy (6min walk), so you can get quickly whatever you need during your stay. Yokote Castle(7min drive) and Manga Museum(20min drive) let us enjoy the history and culture of this city.

Cozy Log-house in the foot of Mt. Chokai

Cozy log house, located in the foot of Mt. Chokai. You can spend a cozy and relax time. It is an ideal place for hiking, back country ski, nature traveling. Here is useful place to access to; "Mt. Chokai", Hokodate gate: 25min by car. "Moto-taki", water fall: to the parking 10min by car. "Shishigahana wet lant", "Nakajimadai": to the parking 15min by car. "Tamasudare falls": 50min by car. "Moriko Omonoimi Shrine" 40min by car. There are a few hot-spring facility around here.
