THE CABIN - is a newly built cabin (2024), located in a small cabin area on Oppheimsåsen with quiet surroundings. This is a cabin that is excellent for the extended family, or several families. The cabin has a high and modern standard. There are ski slopes right outside, bike path, fishing water, as well as several mountain hikes nearby. Stylish and cozy funkish cottage built in 2019. The cottage is located right by the Hallingdalselva river,just 2 km from the center of Ål. High and low climbing park is only 300m away, and about 500m away is Strandafjorden swimming area! Ål ski center is 8 km and to Geilo only 23 km. Hemsedal ski center is 56 km from the cabin. Hardangervidda about 35 km. On the mountains around, you can pick and choose from amazing ski slopes in winter and walking paths in the summer! The activity opportunities are just as good both winter and summer!

Cabin in the mountain village of Vats, Ål in Hallingdal

Cabin at 800 meters above sea level in the mountain village of Vats, Ål municipality. Great views over the village and mountains. Hiking and fishing terrain easily accessible; a large network of ski slopes, bicycle and hiking trails. It is just 6 km up to the high mountains in Skarvheimen where you can see Reineskarvet and Hallingskarvet. The cabin is located on its own and there is a road all the way to it. If you enjoy quiet and scenic surroundings, it is worth taking the trip here.

Our appartment is quite central with easy access to many of Geilos activities and the surounding nature. The apartment is very modern and self contained. It takes 10-15 min to walk to the town center, Train and Bus Station. Only 150 m walk you find the Ski bus stop, Bakery, Swimming pool, Bar and the locals favourite restaurant Sofia's. 10 min walk to Slaata heisen and the ski area Slaata. We wish you a great stay! Located at 930 meters above sea level, ski conditions are secured in the winter time, but also plenty of activity and swimming opportunities in the summer. Well arranged for families with kids of all ages. Winter breeze up to the cabin, and ski in ski out (cross country).
