We loved Sonia's apartment. The welcome by her father and sister Jessica was very friendly. The accommodation is in an enchanting and quiet landscape, perfect for a rest stop on our tour of Portugal. I would recommend this place if you're going to Olas.

The house is ideal for nature lovers! It is very cool inside and has all the necessary equipment for a comfortable stay. The river below is perfect for cooling off and other spots are within walking or driving distance by the road that passes in front of the house (little traffic, mainly farmers and locals who are very warm). We would have stayed much longer!

Carla was very responsive to any issues we had. Very helpful and friendly despite the language differences. Casa Sophia is a perfect as a base for exploring the northern region of Portugal.

The watermill house is beautifully situated and offers everything you need to enjoy nature. It is cosily furnished, has good beds, a nice bathroom and kitchen. Francisca is always fast and clear in her communication. We enjoyed Henrique's cooking skills very much and his good choice for delicious wine. The breakfast, delivered at the front door, with delicious fresh bread, is a great start of the day. This place is highly recommended.

Surrounding the beautiful house in the middle of nature but close to the town of Ribera de Pena so it was accessible to buy. The spacious house with a nice back area for breakfast, barbecue and recreation grounds for our dog. It has all the essential utensils with a typical "order" of town house. There was no toaster but it did sandwich so we were trying to roast the bread. Capsule coffee maker although we would have preferred the usual Italian (there was one but it was not in great condition). Covered, plates, glasses, etc left over. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Little pressure in the toilet flush but no problem. Both kitchen fires and hot water work with butano gas. The host was Maria, Joao's mother, very kind at all times. He waited for us on the road because you have to be very attentive the first time not to pass the crossing that leads to the house. Nos regaló patatas e fig de su horuerta.

Very attentive host. Perfect place to relax and recharge batteries! Very well remodeled space, with good taste, all very comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast on the terrace is a must. I will come back!!

We had such a peaceful and relaxing stay. The view is absolutely stunning! How wonderful to be in the middle of a vineyard. It was the end of the harvest season and our host gave us the opportunity to crush grapes the old fashioned way! Thigh deep in red grapes stomping around! So much fun (purple legs and all)! He also gave us some great restaurant options and provided us with a healthy amount of his wine for a steal. We cooked a lot of meals and did some barbecuing on the grill. Don’t let google take you down any tiny tractor roads! Follow the instructions on when to put the address into your navigation. It’s an adventure up curvy little roads to find this gem. Great host, great property, and lots of wine to be found all over the area! Thank you for the stay!

This place is amazing! The property feels extremely private. There were 4 of us and we felt the house could easily have slept another 4. Everything was spotless. The hosts are extremely friendly and accommodating. I would absolutely recommend going to their restaurant in town, everything was cooked perfectly. The pool was great and we loved using the barbecue. We would absolutely recommend staying here.

This was a stunning AirBNB. Our family could not have chosen a better place to stay. The views were truly incredible from the expansive windows everywhere in the house. From sitting on the balcony and enjoying the view, to relaxing by the pool, to going out and about visiting the quintas in Douro, we truly enjoyed our stay. Rui was a wonderful host, very responsive and great recommendations for restaurants in the guide. Regional Fonte Nova in Armamar is a must go! Overall 10/10.

Really excellent and large house that has been tastefully updated and renovated to modern standards. Great for our multi-family vacation to the Douro Valley. The kitchen was large with excellent modern appliances, and the entertainment room and grounds were ideal for our children. This is an excellent place to rent in the Douro Valley.

Phillipa and Paul were absolutely lovely to work with and their property is unbelievable! We felt like we owned a Quinta for a few nights! we got to explore the property, visit with Paul and one of their sons, and savor the beauty of the Douro. They were proactive with communication and sourced a number of wonderful adventures, activities and meals. Without their guidance our trip would have been less fun!

Nestled in wine territory, with a 5 minute drive up winding roads to the top of the hillside in Folgosa, the home gave spectacular views of the Douro Valley! Mimi recommended restauants, wineries and other areas of interest which we found extremely helpful. All the recommendations were exactly as she described and all were fabulous. We enjoyed the fact that home's location was within 20 -30 minute of Lamego, Peso da Regua & Pinhao which allowed us day trips. Then back to the lanai for sitting by the pool, watching sunsets and drinking wine!

As a group, accustomed to making reservations through airbnb, we decided to book Mr. Rui's. It was definitely an excellent decision! The accommodation is very spacious, with very good taste, with all the necessary utensils, very clean and well-kept! A very well prepared and comfortable outdoor space, from the pool, to the barbecue, to the vegetables! Mr. Rui was tireless from our first interest, always available and concerned. Upon our arrival, we had some very tasty treats. Without a doubt, it positively makes a difference, which "forces" us to come back (and we will gladly). Thank you for everything, Mr. Rui.

Very beautiful home in the heart of a winery, surrounded by beautiful hills and vines. The home itself was very cozy and accommodating for us as 4 persons. There was a fully stocked kitchen, so we were able to make food for ourselves. The hosts were very friendly and had a lot of recommendations. We didn't use the pool since it was a bit chilly, but it looked well maintained and refreshing for hotter days. I would definitely recommend!

Everything is at its best, I'd recommend it without a second thought.

Phenomenal space and very friendly hosts. It was a pity we did not have access to the pool, but it was a small gap that did not affect the experience at all. At the check in only failed not to be able to establish immediate contact, but they called after a while which also did not cause embarrassment. Beautiful and very cozy view. I will certainly return

I don't think you could ever tire of the views from Quinta do Fraguil. They're breathtaking - we kept taking just one more photo! It's so special to be able to see so far into the distance and right down to the bottom of the valley. Even the local viewing point didn't match it! From start to finish, Rui was a friendly and really responsive host. He made us feel confident as soon as we had booked that we were going to be staying somewhere special. He turned up to meet us when we arrived and was in really good contact any time we needed to ask him anything before or during our stay. The pool is a total highlight - a good size and really clean. The house itself was also really clean and tastefully furnished. The outside eating area was perfect and made you feel happy to stay 'at home' and cook! We had sunshine every day and warm evenings sitting outside. This is the sort of place that you feel really sad to leave at the end of your holiday and one that you're very likely to visit again.

This property is beautifully appointed, with great amenities and a wonderfully peaceful location. It's a great stay close to the Douro Valley and surrounding nature. João was a very responsive and welcoming host, we had a couple of very minor issues on arrival and they were resolved within an hour, exceptional service and hospitality! If you are looking for an authentic getaway in Portugal this property is a fantastic choice.
