Welcome to Fogar das Buxainas, a place connected with nature, tradition and the tranquility of a Galician village. Fogar das Buxainas is a family project born in 2025 and gives name and life to a story told by my grandmother. Fogar das Buxainas means Hogar de la peonza, because formerly the owner of the house towards combs for the boys and girls of the village of Arcos. Thanks to the generosity of this man they could play and have fun in those difficult times.

The house, built in the mid-19th century, has been completely renovated, maintaining the essence of stone and wood, to offer a cozy and unique stay.

Beautiful stone house, very quiet and comfortable in a rural setting but just 10 minutes from downtown Orense. It has direct access from the road without stairs. It consists of two double bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The living room is very spacious and has a sofa bed and a folding bed. The kitchen is fully equipped. It has a cobbled front patio and a back terrace overlooking the Ribeira Sacra where you can go out to eat, dine and relax.

Old chapel restored as a home in one of the most emblematic estates for making Ribeiro wine. The first mentions of the Compostelana chapter property in the vicinity of Ribadavia date back to the end of the 12th century. The chapel dedicated to Santiago, along with the manor house, belonged to the Cabildo De Santiago, which personally exploited it due to its wealth in the production of the highly valued Ribeiro wine.
