Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. We built it with much love and fun in a creative, organic way from recycled, found and donated materials. Are you tired of the city for a while? Are you looking for a special destination for a vacation in your own country? I would love to welcome you to my unique place in the middle of the farmlands of Waterland. Just 15 minutes from the city center of Amsterdam, and a stone's throw from picturesque Broek in Waterland, lies my houseboat. To reach the yard, use a small ferry to cross the Broekervaart. By the way, the ferry is privately owned, and is only used by my guests.
