Very nice and cozy accommodation in the middle of beautiful Åmål! Karin is an amazingly friendly and helpful hostess!

We loved staying at Marta and Adam’s place. They were both very friendly and responsive! The kitchen was very well equipped and they quickly provided us with condiments when we ran out. The house feels very private and safe, the bathroom is on ground floor and the stairs lead us up to the bedroom and living/kitchen area. We had brilliant views from the balcony- the stars, sunsets, sunrises, even a fleeting aurora!!! I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a calm, quiet haven in the midst of nature. 🩵

A home that has been put a lot of heart and soul into! They've really thought about every little detail you can think of to make it easy to live in. Super fresh and nice it was when we arrived. You notice that the host puts a lot of love & care into your stay, an excellent host! A perfect get away for a couple wanting spa experience. More satisfied we couldn't be.

My family and I had some really nice days in beautiful Årnäs. Nestled in a charming mansion setting, the property is just a stone's throw from the water. In the mornings we could see from the window, we could see cranes, seabirds and several fallow deer moving around nearby. We also took the opportunity to fish from the associated jetty and got a nice perch, which became a fun feature. The host, Honorine, was very nice and helpful – we had good contact throughout the stay. The accommodation itself was fresh, cozy and equipped with everything you could need. A quiet and nice place we would love to return to.

We had a wonderful time. A dream view combined with a great host and a cozy and really warmly decorated apartment. The perfect stop to relax and explore the lake area.

Jonny and his wife are exceptionally hospitable, you feel right at home! The place is small and is good for a holiday as a couple or a small family. The three beds are all in one room. There is everything you need, and in summer they even gave us fruit and vegetables from their own garden :) The surroundings are very quiet, the house is located directly on Lake Vänern and there is forest around the house. With luck you can also see a moose… many hiking trails are within about 30-45 min drive, and Jonny also lends his SUP and bicycles. It was a magical time and we'd come back any time!

We had two great days. Very nice and cozy accommodation that we absolutely recommend and which was also very nice in a quiet area. We had spotless communication and they were extremely friendly and let us put our four bikes in their garage and had free access in there. We absolutely recommend booking their home if you are going to the area.

The apartment in Kees and Johanne's house looks exactly as the pictures promise. The hosts are reserved but very friendly and helpful. Johanne has designed a wonderful garden where the bees buzz, flowers and apple trees smell. The terrace is shared and there are other rentals. If you want to retreat, you can grab the table and chairs and walk, for example, into the back or front part of the garden. Östenas, where the house is located, is located about 50 km north of Karstadt and thus on the one hand offers a good nature experience on shorter hiking trails (up to 6 km) or long walks on country roads where hardly anyone meets you. If you want to swim, you can do so in the nearby lakes, about a 15-minute walk - I recommend swimming shoes, as the underground is very stone. A car is definitely recommended. If we vacation in Värmland again, it will definitely be with Kees and Johanne.

Super nice hosts with a really nice and affordable cabin. We liked that it was a little out of town, it was quiet and peaceful and lovely to look out over some green nature and just relax. Unfortunately, Google Maps was not so helpful when we were going to get here, but had we just followed the host's instructions on Airbnb it would probably have gone better... However, it was resolved with a quick phone call to Kitty 😇 We spent five nights here and really enjoyed it! There was a private kitchen with a stove/oven, fridge/freezer and microwave as well as a washing machine in the bathroom, and the hosts were kind enough to offer us to borrow their grill if we wanted. Really recommend!

We had a very nice time in Lina's place. The apartment was very nice and equipped with everything you might might need. Lina was always available and responded quickly and easily. We felt very comfortable there. The location was very nice. All around meadows and greenery and very quiet. We will be happy to come back.

We had a great time at Sofie's place. The view from the terrace is simply fantastic, the accommodation is functional and was very clean. Our son loved being able to use the trampoline. The location is ideal for two reasons: the immediate proximity to Saltkallan beach, and the ideal location for accessing the Bohuslan coast sites. Two small downsides: the kitchen and shower could use renovation, as well as the wastewater drainage system to avoid some discomfort when you want to eat on the terrace. But it's completely offset by Sofie's welcome and kindness, as well as the location.
