Mr. Henry and his family have been luxury hosts, always attentive to what we need and incredibly friendly. We were picked up from the port, helped us accommodate and offered us a tour in which Henry explained more about the island, gave us a tour of it and we were able to live the artisanal fishing experience (he was very friendly and patient in answering all our questions), then we returned to appreciate and buy some handicrafts that his wife does. Dinner was served to us inside the room that had heating, so we slept very comfortable. The next day they gave us a five-star hotel-worthy breakfast. My friends and I will definitely be back, we have already recommended Henry with other tourists who plan to visit Puno. Thank you so much for everything Henry and family!!

If you want the local hospitality of Puno, please stay with Lucy. From the moment we arrived, Lucy and her husband were some of the kindest people we met during our trip. Lucy prepared an incredible, healthy breakfast in the morning before we left. The room we stayed in was clean, relatively quiet, and accessible to the rest of the house. Please book with Lucy and her family, so you can have an incredible experience in Puno.

Aroy made our stay a memorable one for our honeymoon. The room was nice as pictured, and I was able to enjoy a quiet and private space.We turned off our smartphones and enjoyed the tranquility. When I told them we were visiting on our honeymoon, Aroy had a small surprise for us. For breakfast, they provided fruit plates, fried eggs, jam and a bunch of bread, and more.I am very satisfied! It took me a little while to get in when I checked in without being able to contact you, but the rest of the communication was always quick to respond.They responded honestly about that and would like to receive Aroy's service again!

If you are considering booking with Felix- DO IT! This was a one-of-a-kind, authentic local experience. From pick up in Puno to touring the Uros Islands, Felix arranges this all for you. Felix and his family are incredibly generous and welcoming. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. The private bungalow stay was relaxing and surrounded in beautiful scenery. Juan graciously gave us an informative and private tour of the islands. I will be recommending this place to any friend who is visiting Lake Titicaca😊

Our stay with César and Mariela on the floating islands of the Uros was unforgettable. We stayed for two nights, and from the moment we arrived, they welcomed us with warmth and care. The island is incredibly quiet and peaceful, and walking on it feels like stepping onto a giant waterbed made of reeds. At night we saw a ton of stars. The views of Lake Titicaca were breathtaking, and the stillness of the lake made it easy to fully unwind. The room was clean and cozy, and the food was very good. The meals were delicious. César took us on a boat tour to visit another Uros community, which was a meaningful and beautiful experience. César helped us with transport and made sure we had what we needed. A few tips: WiFi was somewhat slow, understandably, since you’re in the middle of Lake Titicaca. There’s a double USB plug but no standard outlet. Use bottled water (they provided one liter) for drinking and brushing your teeth. We would definitely recommend this Airbnb!

Caesar enjoyed sharing his culture with us when visiting the Uros Islands and offered us a moment of fishing on the lake at the end of the day where we were able to enjoy a beautiful sunset. Despite only staying for one night, our group had an incredible time. Gina was incredibly responsive, and helped us organise our arrival and departure, which went seamlessly. In addition, Gina’s family were incredibly accommodating and kind. We had dinner made by Gina (chicken, trout, and vegetarian) and it was so delicious. The breakfast spread was large and very filling - also delicious. This was such a unique opportunity, and one that I will never forget (we also did the tour of the Uros islands which was enlightening). I would highly recommend staying here at Gina’s Airbnb :)

Nelio is a very good host and makes you feel like home. He provides tips for activities during the day. He is very punctual, which is very convenient when you have to catch a bus. He even dropped us at the harbour at 5am, brought a blanket to keep us warm on the boat and called a taxi to the bus terminal (which was already there when we arrived at the harbour). Only tip I could give to future guests of Nelio is to bring some snacks and drinks for your stay, since you’re staying in the middle of (beautiful) nature without much shops around. Nelio is also very transparant and fair with the prices (you just have to ask him ;)).

We cannot describe how amazing our stay was. We only stayed for one night and wished we had more time to stay longer. The lodge is beautiful with homemade decorations by Vicky. The bed is probably one of the most comfortable beds we've slept on ever (not kidding). You get a balcony where you can sit and watch the boats pass by. Vicky is so lovely, as are her family. If you're interested she will tell you all about life in the Uros community. We had a good balance of chilled time but Vicky kindly agreed to take us reed cutting and pulling the fishing nets (at our request). Cannot fault anything and just so glad we chose Vicky to host. Thank you Vicky and we will be back (with baby) xx

The most amazing home stay on Amantani! Henry showed us around the island and his wife Marie-Luiz made the most amazing meals for us with all local ingredients during our stay. The place was just 15 mins away from the main square and right on the main path that circumnavigates the island. We wish we had more time at this beautiful place. Thank you for the wonderful stay! :)

Oliver is a great host, he came to pick us up at the top of his path, in the rain, prepared us a good meal while we had been blocked on the road and were very late. The next day he dropped us off with his own boat on Amantani. thank you Oliver.

Ursula’s place looks just like the photos and was an oasis from the evening traffic when we arrived. Ursula was super accommodating and we were able to have dinner there after a late arrival, her mom packed us a breakfast to take on our tour, and they prepared a special tea for my partner who had a travelers bug. It was so lovely at her place!

Return visit to Casa Don Jose. Again Nancy was very friendly and helpful. My luggage had been stored from previous visit and I was able to check in earlier than expected. Short walk to main square, restaurants and laundry etc. excellent place for an overnight stay in Puno.

Oswaldo’s place is beautiful! I am a traveler who likes to be completely secluded in beautiful surroundings and far away from the city and this gave me just that & more! The space is surrounded by beautiful flowers and trees and birds, and the lake view from the balcony is amazing. It’s a 10 minute motor bike from amantani port, 20 sols or you can walk for an hour or so. The beds were super comfortable, it felt warm. The food was delicious, everything local which is the best part and the fresh munya tea is amazing :) Oswaldo is very friendly. Really recommend this place! Thank youu oswaldo!
