Beautiful apartment on the edge of the Tamega River in the Douro region. The location is breathtaking with magnificent river views. The grounds are exceptionally set up so you can enjoy Portuguese nature and the surrounding area. Helena and Luis are extraordinary and generous hosts. Their warm welcome leaves us an indelible memory. Several beautiful touches (flowers, lemons, port, chocolate) add to this place a beautiful luxurious and human touch. I would recommend this place 200%!

We had a lovely stay. The accommodation is very clean, spacious and bright. We were able to enjoy the fruits and vegetables from the gardens ( oranges, salad, beans) and even the eggs of the chickens. The hosts are very kind and helpful. The welcome that was made by Maria's husband was very warm. We recommend this listing

It was an amazing weekend. We felt at home. We enjoyed the cold nights by the fireplace and with family games. Our pet was super happy with the green areas. Clean and comfortable linens. In addition to excellent communication with the host, always available and polite.

João was friendly, humane and hospitable from the first moment to the last!😊 When we arrived and walked through the door of the house, João had taken care to have the whole house air-conditioned, we walked in to the comfort of a warm house...this attention to detail says it all...the house is very beautiful and spacious! I'm happy to recommend the house, and if I can, I'll do anything to go back!😊 Keep it up João, you're doing a great job!😊

The stay was excellent: The house, the impeccable pool, the surroundings, the vineyards, and the kindness and excellence of the hosts. The vacation days we spent here were ideal. The best on the route. We were next to Amarante, which pleasantly surprised us, and other cities to visit, 1 hour drive away. Thanks Osvaldo and Magdalena and family for being such good hosts!

Romantic Chalet with Heated Pool All Year

We went to spend a few days as a family with a baby. Before we even left our home, Débora and João had already asked us what would be necessary for our son (in this case we asked for the crib and the meal chair). As soon as we arrived we found that, in addition to corresponding, it was even better. The space is cozy, from the view to the decoration and sunlight that fills the space, everything aligns in favor of a super relaxing stay. The house is also very well equipped to meet needs we didn't even know we were going to need. Bonus Points for the heated pool with an amazing view. Hosts were super affable and available. Amarante will undoubtedly stay in our heart.

Great space for conviviality, with excellent indoor and outdoor conditions. With football field, padel, swimming pool and other entertainment ideal for groups. The host was very responsive and helped in any matter, also answering a late check out request on our part.

We had a great time at Maria’s house. It was beautiful and we loved the view. The patio and pool in the back were great and we loved the lemon tree and the herb garden. Maria dropped off extra coffee and arranged a cab for us. We would definitely stay there again.

Amazing place very welcoming we were very well received. You're always very clean. Pool and space around really nice We definitely love the place to repeat. Only the sofa bed is a bit cramped for two people. Everything else was amazing

Somewhat secluded house, but that allowed us a very good days of rest. An amazing view, over the mountain, that allowed us to enjoy some wonderful sunsets as a family. The house and outside space had everything we needed, and Eduardo and D. Glória were absolutely incredible and very accessible throughout the process.
