A wonderful stay! The cottage by the water is located at various amenities. A beautiful shopping center. The train station is at 10 min walking distance, so you are in Amsterdam and Zaanse Schans in 20 minutes, 15 minutes. The beach, Volendam and Alkmaar are all a short distance away. You must take care of breakfast yourself, but for delicious rolls, you can go to the local baker, who is within walking distance. Upon arrival, you will find various drinks in the fridge. In short, a wonderful stay!

This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. Please read the advertisement carefully before booking. I would love to make you welcome in our wonderful home in Hoogedijk. Our home is a completely renovated dike house from 1889, and your room has beautiful views of the Gouwzee and in the evening, you can see the lights of Monnickendam. After a good night's rest, you will enjoy your own wonderful waterfront terrace. Your apartment has its own entrance and is on the second floor of our beautiful house. Be aware that there is no full kitchen.

The entrance to the house is communal, we live on the top floors, but the studio has its own entrance from the hallway and has private access to the garden with view on and entrance to a canal. The studio has a kitchen with basic cooking equipment (microwave, hot plates, pans, coffeemaker etc), shower, toilet and seating area to make your stay as convenient as possible.
