Incredible luxury townhouse, very spacious and packed with everything we needed for our stay. It is located in a quiet neighborhood away from the vibrant city center yet in a very convenient location to either walk or take public transportation to all major tourist attractions and the city center. Just around the corner from a street market, coffee shops and restaurants. The communication with Emilie was flawless and timely. I can't say enough about how great it was our stay. Emilie went above and beyond to make sure were comfortable and had a great stay. She provided local recommendations for food, activities for kids and babysitter services. Highly recommended. Definitively coming back when in Amsterdam.

I stayed for a month, and the apartment was great. It was so lovely to sit at the open windows overlooking the canal, the bed was very comfortable, I had everything I needed, and it's a short bike ride to anywhere. The tour of the upstairs was fascinating! Good to know: Part of the beauty of this place is that it's near the center, in the old section. That means there are canals everywhere, it has tons of character and history, and it's easy to get anywhere on foot or by bike. It also means that it is near a touristy area. Don't let that stop you! I don't like the hordes of tourists at all, but I was happy here. I simply rode a few blocks away at the busiest times to escape. And Herengracht itself in front of the building isn't crowded. Sure, canal tour boats glide by, but they're fun to watch. The couch is comfy, the chairs are less so, but two people can enjoy the couch. The kitchen is a little bit worn, but it was clean and served my purposes (I did not cook). I would return!

Absolutely loved our stay at Jef & Mette's house, can't recommend it highly enough. The house is so cool, it has great character and feels like it's 'not just an ordinary house'. It's a very quiet residential neighborhood and felt safe, and there are supermarkets about 200m away. The tram stop for the city centre is about 200m in the other direction, so this is a great base for easy living and exploring Amsterdam. Jef and Mette were great hosts, very communicative, and they gave clear instructions for every part of our stay. We would happily go back, and would very much recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Alina and Tony's home. We were traveling with our 14 month old so it was great to have a crib, high chair and toys for her to play with. The house was super spacious and comfortable and it was beautiful to stay next to the canal! Would definitely recommend staying here!

This house is ideally located just a 10-15 minute walk from the train station, providing convenient access to Amsterdam Central, Rotterdam, and the airport. It's family-friendly, stocked with plenty of toys for kids, making it a great choice for families. While the property offers a peaceful escape from city life, it's still close enough to enjoy urban amenities. However, the barbecue could use some maintenance for better usability. The house features one large bedroom and two smaller children's rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a washing machine, creating a cozy atmosphere that truly feels like a home away from home.

Our group of 4 enjoyed Mieke’s accommodations. We cooked in for breakfast and dinner; grocery store close and kitchen well stocked. Comfortable livingroom and beds. Nice to have 2 bathrooms. The garden space outside added a touch of hominess, along with her adorable cats; Willem especially entertained us! Location was great with trams to city center only a block away. Very responsive.

We enjoyed it extremely well here and we felt completely comfortable right away. Everything was clean, tidy, and cozy. The surroundings were also super nice and in the neighborhood you immediately felt at home. The Wi-Fi password was stored and there were also a few niceties in the fridge. Overall a great service and we have nothing to complain about.

The apartment is very well-located. Rosie was lovely to deal with: very responsive and gave us excellent suggestions. The steep winding staircases to access the apartment and the one inside the apartment are perhaps not suitable for the infirm or elderly. The apartment wasn't super pristine, and a few things were in disrepair. Kind of like if you stayed at a friend's lived-in place, rather than a sterile hotel. The cats are funny and want very much to be where they shouldn't. Good mousers.

Anouk is a perfect host, friendly and immediately responsive to a question we asked during our stay. It’s a wonderful house for a family with children— a large, open, attractive but unfussy space with its own garden and easy proximity to a market. We were 3 generations, but we grandparents had no problems, since we entered on the ground floor and climbed only one flight of stairs to the bedrooms. A happy time.

We highly recommend this place. Great location, great layout. Host Evi was very courteous and available. The place was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It should be noted that the steps are quite steep as indicated in the listing, it was not a problem for us but someone with mobility problems could be hampered there. It should also be noted that the shower and toilet are upstairs adjoining the bedroom and that the small bathroom does not have a sink, you have to go down to the kitchen. We hope to be able to come back soon! Everything was great!

If you are searching for a place to stay in the Netherlands, you can stop now. This is it. It’s less than an hour away from Amsterdam, and right around Haarlem’s centre. The view to the Spaarne river and how quiet the city is, is just incredible. The photos and descriptions of this airbnb don’t do justice. I can assure you it’s much better. The house is big enough to fit five people comfortably, and it’s so beautiful that we were constantly tempted to just stay and hang out there, enjoying the view of the river at the front, or the Church of St. Bavokerk that can be seen from the kitchen; or go to the terrace if it’s sunny. I can’t recommend this enough!

We enjoyed a family holiday at Kees home.The house is large both indoors and outdoors and great for alfresco eating. The location is a short walk from the Old Town but in a quiet and peaceful location. Kees was on hand to answer any queries and to suggest options for enjoying our time in Leiden. A perfect stay. We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Haarlem! The apartment was clean, cozy, and perfectly located near all the major attractions. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, always available to answer our questions and provide helpful recommendations. We felt very welcome and at home during our stay. The neighborhood was charming and peaceful, making it a great place to relax after a day of exploring. There are lots of lovely restaurants and shops on your doorstep and the location is perfect for exploring. This is a home away from home and has everything you need. We were there with 3 adults and 2 toddlers. Beautiful house and especially great kitchen and small garden! We didn't miss anything and the children were very happy about the toys. Beautiful quiet location. Always happy to come back!

We had a family reunion in Haarlem, at Ilaria's lovely house. We enjoyed everything and were really at ease in the house. The flexible check-in and check-out helped a lot with our plans. Ilaria kindly took care of making us very comfortable. I definitely recommend this lovely house.

Marie's place was outstanding and we had a great stay. It is super quiet and comfy, shops with everything you need nearby, calm yet close to the center. Would love to come again!
