Very nice chracteristic house in beautiful setting in natural park!

Beautiful house, nice atmosphere. House is in a nice, very quiet place! Close to the water, right next to the woods. Had a nice time here with our dog and two small children.

Great home, best we ever been! The house is big, cozy and had everything and more. In the evening we saw moose and deer behind the house! Great visits to Bastnas car cemetery, Oslo, Glaskogen, loppis, hikes across the border, swimming in the lake nearby…. The host is very friendly and pro active! We surely will visit this house again in the future!

Anna and Tommy's house was the perfect place to sit in peace for a weekend alone and read and write. The house is close to the road (but sheltered) and is easy to find. There is a large green plot and possibility for nice hikes in the forest. Lovely with a lighthouse in the fireplace and cozy living room. If you live alone here, you must not be houseworn, because an old house makes a lot of noises, at least when it rains on the roof..! But this is a house full of charm, beds, books and dining area both inside and outside. Here you can bring the whole family for both play, hiking and relaxation, I will next time! Otherwise, it is a short drive into the pleasant Arvika city center, with cafes, flea markets and shopping. Happy to come back!

The house is as described and has a wonderful location. Even in winter it is easy to reach, the roads are cleared. Winter tires are definitely important. The house itself is lovingly decorated and even in winter, at -13°C it is still pleasantly warm. The open fireplace creates a great atmosphere and warms well. In the neighboring house lives a very friendly lady who welcomed us warmly and is very helpful. It is a wonderful place to relax. The sauna by the lake is a wonderful place to switch off and find peace. We had a very nice time there.

We had a great 2 weeks with our family [11 - 73 years] 12 people. We enjoyed the charm of the house, the large garden with great views - the boat, the canoe and the beautiful lake. Likewise, the surroundings with blueberries, cranberries and many chanterelles. Ole is a very helpful and friendly host. The beds, rooms and kitchen were all cozy and very well equipped. Well rested, very happy and satisfied, we will remember this beautiful place......and who knows....if we come back there might still be a sauna.

Super lovely accommodation with great views of the landscape. Everything worked as it should and Andreas responded quickly to all questions and was very helpful. One thing in the whole thing was that the extra cabin was not livable during winter time. It could have been in the description. But it really doesn't pull down the rating. Thanks for a great stay!

We felt like at home in Marcus and Ulrica's house. We found a very nice welcome when we arrived. The communication with Marcus was excellent, he always provided us with valuable information. The house is very lovingly decorated and very nicely located. An ideal place to relax. Too bad there is no unobstructed view of the lake.

We had a wonderful time in this lovely, cosy small cabin in nature. It is perfect for a couple. Everything was clean and well maintained. The location is quiet and secluded (there is only one other house nearby) but easily accessible by car. We would love to come here again!

There were 12 of us, of which 4 children in a generation group celebrating an even birthday. For us the place was just perfect and so we were lucky with the weather as well. Would love to come back..

We have had an amazing stay with absolutely wonderful hosts and a top notch service. We really felt so welcome. The hosts have thought of everything and everything we needed was there. The home was magical and surrounded by an incredibly beautiful environment. I'm so glad I managed to find this gem and we will definitely go here again. Everything was just perfect, nothing to complain about!🥰
