Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and Amazon Fire TV (Magenta TV). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

Lovely house in the countryside

Welcome to Snickargården in scenic Stora Mosshult, Tiveden! Here you rent a charming newly renovated house built in 1886 with room for up to 8 guests. In the house, there are all amenities from our time but with saved details from before. Hiking trails and swimming lake are within walking distance. Tiveden's sights are close to the distance and can be reached by bicycle or car. Bed linens, towels and final cleaning are included. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets, as many of our guests are fur allergic.

Welcome to our lakeside gem with all the comforts! 135 sqm winterized cabin with municipal water and sewage as well as fully equipped kitchen. It has everything you need from shower, bathtub and washing machine to TV and fireplace for rainy days. If it is warm there is AC and jetty shared with the neighbors 2 min walk from the house. In the master bedroom there is a double bed (180 cm) as well as a 105 cm bed. In the small bedroom there is a 140cm bed. The sofa in the patio is easily made into two more beds

The gem of Norra Vätättern

On a ridge overlooking the beautiful archipelago of northern Vättern lies our modern, newly built holiday home with large social areas and a fantastic ceiling height with nice light inclusions. Here, a slightly larger group/family can find recovery with proximity to nature, yet it is only 10 minutes by car to the beautiful small town of Askersund. Tiveden National Park is close to Harjebaden's long sandy beach. The house was ready in autumn 2018 and has all amenities.

Klippan's guest house

On one of the highest points in old Askersund is Villa Klippan and separately on the property you will find this exclusively decorated guest room. Adjustable beds, kitchen with induction stove, microwave and refrigerator. Bathroom with shower and washing machine. Private breakfast terrace. Close to the city center, swimming and walking paths. Bed linens and towels are in the room when you arrive and final cleaning can be added by agreement for SEK 150

Newly built annexe/guest house

Newly built attefall house with bed for four people. One bedroom with two single beds. A spacious sleeping loft with relatively high ceilings with two bed spaces. Living room with sofa armchair and dining area. Kitchen area with fridge, stovetop, kettle and coffee maker. Access to the patio and barbecue. Bed linens and towels are included if desired. Close to golf, harbor, lake and forest. A few kilometers to Askersund.

A cottage in the middle of the forest near Högsjö

The house is located in the middle of the forest, it is very quiet and peaceful. Perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. There are 3 lakes within 20 minutes walking distance and there are more than enough opportunities for walking, cycling, mountain biking, swimming, boating, motorcycling, etc. Open canoes (2) and the hot tub are available for rent. Charcoal is available for purchase.

Cozy and waterfront cottage for year-round stay

Västanvik, close to Östgötaleden's hike, Vättern's coves and swimming, walks, a quiet moment and possible day trips to Motala, Askersund, Medevi, Vadstena, and more! Motala with Varamonbaden only about 20 min by car is the largest lake bath in the Nordic countries and offers a wonderful beach. Also suitable for golf weekends with proximity to, for example, Motala GK, Vadstena GK and Askersunds GK.

Skagern Lake House

A lake house above average, the house was built in 2020. The house is located in a small neighbourhood area, there is also a newly built loft in a building next to the lake house which will be available to rent as well. The loft has space for 2 people, with access to a double bed, without toilet and water. This will accessible in the original lake house. We do not accept animals in the house.

Welcome to spend the winter in our Lake House! Wake up to a sunrise over the lake, relax in the sauna, or enjoy a walk along the water. Close to Tiveden National Park and many scenic hiking trails along Lake Vättern. The guest cabin is located on a secluded part of our property where we live year-round. You have private access to the cabin, sauna, and terraces. The jetty is shared with us.

Cozy little cottage for the couple or the small family

Our place is in a small community close to art and culture, downtown and restaurants and food. You'll love my place because of the small cottage's pleasant location in a cultural landscape that fits different ages. The cottage is on the plot where we also live. Suitable for solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).
