Pillows and duvets are on site. Campfire by the water and possibility to use a canoe. Finnskogen has a lot to offer. Fishing, hunting, berry picking, forest hiking, wildlife. Many trails and gravel roads to explore.

Cozy little cottage in a quiet neighborhood with large patio. Possibility for skiing, swimming and fishing. The cabin contains two bedrooms. Double bed in one room, and bunk bed in the other room. There is also a sofa bed in the living room with sleeping space for two. The cabin is rented furnished. Bring clothes, towels, food, shower accessories such as shampoo, bedclothes and sheets. You have free access to cold and hot water in the cabin. The outdoor toilet is used as the indoor toilet is currently out of order. Shower cabin in the bathroom can be used as usual.

The location is "in the middle of Scandinavia". 60 km to Kongsvinger, 50 km to Elverum, 80 km to Hamar. The house is located on a farm where we, a couple in our 60s, also live with our dog, Perle.

The cabin is located in the deep forrest north of Kongsvinger, a two hour drive from Oslo. You can park your car a 100 meters from the cabin, but this is still an area where you can go for days without meeting any other people. It is a nice area with a lot of wildlife, nice lakes and mysterious nature as well as wonderful hiking and skiing opportunities. The area has numerous hiking and cross-country skiing possibilities just outside the door.

The farm is located about 15 minutes drive by car to the city, Elverum. A grocery store is about 13 minutes away. You should have a car if you are going to stay with us. You will find a farm in operation, with tractors driving at times, but also silence, nature, trees, land and forest as neighbors. Occasionally you can see elk and deer on the land. Sometimes there are northern lights!
