The train station is a 10-minute walk, so you can be in Amsterdam in 20 minutes and in Zaanse Schans in 15 minutes. The beach, Volendam and Alkmaar are all a short distance away. You have to take care of breakfast yourself, but for delicious sandwiches you can go to the local bakery, which is within walking distance. Upon arrival, you will find various drinks in the fridge. Loft in old fire station of Wijk aan Zee

Come and stay in the old Wilhelminaschool from 1884. In a quiet street is our building that was once built as a school, then served as a fire station and where we now live. This third classroom has been refurbished with a lot of love and patience and has now been transformed into a cozy 70m2 loft. Because the space has an open staircase and fairly open balustrade, the apartment is not suitable for small children. Kids from 7 years old are welcome.

Welcome! Your house is separate from our house and has its own entrance. You can stay with four adults (and an extra baby). Free parking right next to the house. Enjoy the nature reserve and the mills while walking in the immediate vicinity. Bus stop for public transport to Amsterdam is 50 meters away, 30 minutes to the center of Amsterdam! The price includes bed linen, kitchen linen, bath towels and local taxes.

COTTAGE NEAR THE WATER

You will find the cottage on a little island called De Woude. It is a true paradise for birdwatchers, hikers and fishermen but if you want visit Alkmaar, Zaanse schans, Amsterdam ore you want to go to the beach you will be there in ca. 35 minutes by car. With a ferry you get to the island. The ferry goes back and forth all day until 23:00. Cars are allowed. their is a private parking place near the cottage.
