An ideal spot from which to plan your excursions: head west to Galway City (23km); or southwest via Kinvara (24km) to the Burren (43km); and then to the Cliffs of Moher (70km). Or, go east to Loughrea (19km) where there's safe summer lake swimming.

Beautiful timber/stone barn c200 yrs old renovated in 2015 to a high standard, set on an organically/permaculture inspired smallholding in countryside close to historic town Athenry. Featuring a large double bedroom with 4 poster bed, a sleeping loft, suitable for children/young adults. Fully fitted Kitchen. Contemporary Shower room with Compost Toilet.
