Here you can live completely undisturbed and alone and enjoy lazy days, or exciting trips in the woods and on the plains. It takes about 40 minutes to the tourist town of Rjukan, where you can find a water park, the cross-country ski track, Vemork Industrial Workers' Museum, Gaustatoppen and the ski resort on Gausta. Idyllic spot by Lake Tinnsjøen near Rjukan

The cabin is located by Tinnsjøen lake with parking right beside it. It is 6 kilometers from Mæl ferry rental in the direction of Atrå. It is 17 kilometres to Rjukan, 25 kilometres to Gaustatoppen mountain and beautiful mountain areas. Beautiful views, plenty of sun. There is no running water in the cabin, but water tap just outside. Free wood for the wood stove. When there's frost and freezing temperatures, there's no water in the tap outside. Water must be collected from the host. Rowing boat is available for free. Outboard motor 1-3 days NOK 400, -

Cozy 1850 Firehouse/Back House The cabin has been converted to an annex/small cabin where there is one room with a double bed. Dining nook inside. Outdoor kitchen with fridge, and gas hob. BBQ. Bathroom in the neighboring building. The duvet and pillow are in the cabin. Bed linen must be ordered separately for 150 per person. It is a short distance to the mountain, Tinnsjøen, bike rides and hikes in the nearby area. During summertime you can swim and fish in the river just below. The tourist commune offers varied experiences and activities for everyone.

At 920 metres above sea level, you will have fantastic views of Gaustatoppen, peaceful surroundings and very good sunlight from morning to evening. A short distance to Snaufjellet, great hiking opportunities, fishing, swimming and cross-country skiing, in addition to mountain farm life at Håvardsrud and the cultural heritage at Rjukan, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Gaustablikk ski centre is 50 km from the cabin. The cabin is well suited for families and guests who want tranquillity, nature, views and great experiences all year round.

Lower your heart rate at the top of Stolpehytta! Stolpehytta is located 5 minutes away from Blaafarveværket in Modum municipality, right next to the climbing park Høyt & Lavt Modum. Here you can find tranquility among the treetops. The large windows provide a panoramic view over the landscape and the night sky. Built in solid wood, with an area of 27 m2, it gives just enough space for what you need for a relaxing trip away from everyday life. If you want activity, you can rent e-bikes, stroll down to the climbing park or explore the local area.

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Homey with everything you need for a pleasant visit to Rjukan. Walk 1 min to shops, pharmacy, liquor store, restaurants. Bakery a few meters away from the doorstep. Rjukanbadet 10 minutes walking distance. Leave the car in the free parking right outside the door. Free Mountain Bus takes you to Gausta/Gaustatoppen only 20 minutes away. The apartment is located in the middle of the city center but still withdrawn from the main street.

The cabin is centrally located in Austbygde which is an eldorado for trips in summer and winter. There is a short distance to Skirvedalen, where in winter there are miles of great ski slopes waiting for you. In summer there is a great swimming spot in the river nearby. There is also a short distance to Sandviken camping by Tinnsjøen which has a wide range of leisure activities. It is 30 km to Rjukan which is listed on UNESCO's World Heritage List. Here you can visit Vemork, Solspeilet, take the Krossobanen etc.
