Holiday rentals in Audubon County

Home away from home. This was the second stay we have had and the second time we have had excellent service and stay. We had a great time for our trip. Thank you!

My family enjoyed our stay. We were in Carroll for a funeral and wanted to be in a location that was near to the hotels, where everyone else in the family was staying. The upstairs had two living areas, which was really nice for many people. The basement had it's own sleeping area, living room, and small bathroom.

We loved staying at this cabin for a girls weekend. It was nice and private without being difficult to get to. The cabin had plenty of amenities and made it easy to cook. We didn't expect the basement to be unfinished but it didn't hinder our stay in any way. The only negative was there were a ton of ladybugs crawling around during our stay so if bugs aren't your thing be aware. Otherwise, Navey was friendly and super responsive to our never-ending questions as we prepared for our stay. Would stay here again!

I had a wonderful stay. It was peaceful and I enjoyed the local trails. The Cottage had all I could want or need, it was cozy and clean. Emily was a lovely host and left fantastic information about the area.

This is our second stay at Ed and Cindy's and five stars doesn't seem enough. We'd award them more if we could. Yes, everything about the 1875 House is physically perfect, but it's the intangibles; the love and care they put in to the place, the friendly communications, and the genuine concern they have for the comfort and wellbeing of their guests that make a stay there so unique and comforting. There's an old Scottish song with a chorus that goes, "Will ye no come back again?" This Scottish-American answers with a definite, "Aye!" Thanks, Ed and Cindy, for everything you do!

Our stay was short but so enjoyable! The place was spotless which is the first thing I look at in any rental. The beds were super comfy. Michelle was friendly and breakfast was amazing including the warm just- out- of -the- oven bread with homemade jelly! I would recommend this property anytime.

This was a nice, quiet place to stay. It was a little hard to find as we couldn't find the house number, but it looked just like the photos so that helped. The house was remodeled with a lot of great features and still had a farmhouse feel. Hosts were very helpful and responsive. We had a great stay and will likely return next time we are in the area.

It was exactly what I needed -- simple place, good value, great location for where I needed to be. Great communication. I loved parking close to the door -- so easy for loading/unloading. Would definitely stay again.
