Outdoor kitchen with fridge, and gas cooktop. Barbecue. Bathroom in the neighboring building. Duvet and pillow are in the cabin. Bed linen is included in the rental price. There is a short distance to the mountains, Tinnsjøen, bike tours and tours in the surrounding area. During summertime you can swim and fish in the river just below. The tourist municipality offers varied experiences and activities for everyone.

The cabin is located by Tinnsjøen lake with parking right beside it. It is 6 kilometers from Mæl ferry rental in the direction of Atrå. It is 17 kilometres to Rjukan, 25 kilometres to Gaustatoppen mountain and beautiful mountain areas. Beautiful views, plenty of sun. There is no running water in the cabin, but water tap just outside. Free wood for the wood stove. When there's frost and freezing temperatures, there's no water in the tap outside. Water must be collected from the host. Rowing boat is available for free. Outboard motor 1-3 days NOK 400, -

At 920 metres above sea level, you will have fantastic views of Gaustatoppen, peaceful surroundings and very good sunlight from morning to evening. A short distance to Snaufjellet, great hiking opportunities, fishing, swimming and cross-country skiing, in addition to mountain farm life at Håvardsrud and the cultural heritage at Rjukan, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Gaustablikk ski centre is 50 km from the cabin. The cabin is well suited for families and guests who want tranquillity, nature, views and great experiences all year round.

Tinnsjøhytta

Enjoy quiet holidays with the whole family right by Tinnsjøen on this peaceful cabin right down on the waterfront. Two cabins are connected with a terrace. One cabin has a dining table, a sofa bed and a simple kitchen. The second cabin is the bedroom with 4 beds. Water must be collected at the sanitary facility at Sjøtveit Camping, where there is also a free shower. In addition, there is a completely renovated bathroom (shared with another cabin) with a biological toilet in the neighboring cabin. No running water. Simple standard.

Welcome to our cabin! 😊 The cabin is located on the sunny side of Gaustatoppen, about 870 m above sea level. It has stunning views over three lakes and the mountain landscape. 😊 Right on the downside of the cabin is the worthy Tuddal mountain hotel. This is a historic hotel well worth a visit. Connected to municipal water and drainage, with fresh and good water in the spring. NOTE! BED LINEN AND TOWELS MUST BE BROUGHT, but can be rented for an additional NOK 100 per person. Bed sizes: 1x180 cm, 1x150 cm, 1x 120 cm, 3x 75 cm.

Take a break and relax in quiet surroundings at the foot of Hardangervidda. One room, bunk bed, pull-out double bed, dining table, kitchenette and fridge. Panoramic views over Tinnsjøen and the mountains behind! Road to the door. Suitable for 3-4 people. There are duvets and pillows in the cabin, but you must bring your own sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases and towels. Access to shared bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. The cabin is cleaned, dishes are put back in place and garbage is emptied on departure.

There is a short distance to Skirvedalen, where in winter there are miles of great ski slopes waiting for you. In summer there is a great swimming spot in the river nearby. There is also a short distance to Sandviken camping by Tinnsjøen which has a wide range of leisure activities. It is 30 km to Rjukan which is listed on UNESCO's World Heritage List. Here you can visit Vemork, Solspeilet, take the Krossobanen etc.
