Rorbu – Bakkasund Austevoll

Centrally located in Bakkasund, right next to Olaskjæret, the Joker shop and the marina, we rent out our Rorbu. It is one of five sections in Bakkasund Brygge Sameie. There is parking space for one car in front of the section. On sunny days, you can enjoy a cup of coffee and the sun by the front door in the morning and early afternoon while watching the life in the marina and on the quay. And in the afternoon/evening, it is the jetty side that faces the sun. Here it is especially nice to sit in the doorway of the patio doors. The view is beautiful regardless of the weather.

Apartment with open living room/kitchen solution, 1 bedroom and bathroom on the 1st floor, 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor. All beds are 120 cm. The apartment is above a double garage, entrance in the back. Stairs to get to the front door and steep, unsecured stairs up to the 2nd floor, see picture. Proximity to the lake and the possibility to rent two kayaks. 6 km from Bekkjarvik square with many shops, including grocery store and Bekkjarvik guesthouse with excellent restaurant. Good hiking opportunities: Globen on Stolmen, Kongsakleiva in Bekkjarvik, Veten on Vik.

Newer cabin in Barmen on Hundvåkøy. It goes over 3 floors with 4 bedrooms, ( 4 double beds ) a kitchen and a large kitchen, two bathrooms, 2 living rooms and 3 terraces. ( is also a double sofa bed in the downstairs living room. ) Two people can sleep there outside the beds, but this has not been included in the room/person calculation. Approx. 120 sqm together. So here there is plenty of space for two families, a total of 8-10 people. It is located in a maritime area with other boathouses, the sea, and a nice little beach, as well as a small playground.

Apartment with a lake view and balcony

Bright and nice 73 m2 apartment located in a residential area, but with nature in the immediate vicinity. The apartment is on the 2nd floor of a 4-person building, with a partial view of the sea. All apartments in the building have adult residents. From the kitchen there is a door out to a spacious balcony with seating area for 4 people. Walking distance to the sea, forest and mountains. Master bedroom has 1 comfortable double bed + closet. The guest room has 1 single bed + office desk. There is space for extra floor mattress.

Stay in a nice 3-room apartment (80 m2)

Welcome to this nice and relatively new apartment that was ready for move-in in January 2021. Most of the furniture is of a more recent type (2025–2026). The living room has some windows which makes the apartment bright and modern. The place is quiet and peaceful, so you can sit back and relax here. I recommend a short mountain hike of about 200 metres in altitude called Varden/Kleppaksla. It starts just nearby ☺️ Otherwise, the Kleppe activity trail is a walk that takes you all the way down to the sea 🤗

Apartment with a spectacular view

A flat with a spectacular view: Through the big windows, you see the fjord and far away, you can see the mountains and glacier. An easy trip from Bergen Center. One to one and a half hours by speed passenger ferry from Strandkaiterminalen, Bergen. Or from Flesland Airport, 15 min bus/taxi to Flesland quay, and 40 min to Møkster. The flat is situated a 15-minute walk from Møkster harbour 1.2 km. You will find a good modern grocery store at the harbour. You cannot bring your car to the island.
