Vast typical Norwegian cabin above the boat shed (I recommend renting it to Cecilie) with your feet in the water arranged with great care and taste (the stove is welcome in the evening fallen. Vast terrace overlooking the private dock on the fjord. A sauna and a small bedroom in the annex right next to the cabin. Kayak or boat rides from Cecilie, ferry to the island of Fedje 25 minutes away and ferry to Sløvagen 30 minutes away for a beautiful easy hike in Steinefillet with an extraordinary view of the fjord. In short, paradise at Cecilie and Espen's not too far from Bergen!

An exceptionally quirky, nice and fun little house. Tasteful decor with thoughtful touches and nice, thought-provoking photos and books. Is personal space.

If you like peace and quiet, this is the place. We had a few days of bad weather but then the house was very comfy and homely. We loved it!

We had a wonderful time in Nils-Helges cozy house and Fedje is a really beautiful island. Just sitting on the deck with a glas of wine, looking at the sea and the boats and listening to the seagulls was beyond relaximg. The house had all we need and as we also rented the boat we enjoyed many hours on the water. If the distance between Fedje and our hometown would not be as lange as it is, we would be back next week!

Great house and beautiful area. Lovely sea view, and the house was clean and inviting. Everything is set up for guests to feel welcome and have a comfortable stay. Flexible check-in with key box. Cheerful host who responds quickly. Can be safely recommended.

We (2 adults, 3 children) had a couple of nice days in Asnake's house. We mainly went hiking, there are a couple of short trails (~5 km) within easy reach by car (15-20 minute ride); you find these trails on openstreetmap. Waterproof shoes (rubber boots) for younger children are recommended, as there is a lot of moor and the soil is drenched. Maybe this was due to a lot of rain during our stay, which unfortunately also kept us from swimming, although there is a nice bathing site in the vicinity (~3 km from the house, see pictures in the ad). Asnake is a very nice guy who showed us around and gave some tips for excursions. We really recommend the nearby Kilstraumen restaurant, which offers a splendid buffet on Sundays for a reasonable price and where you can rent small motorboats or kayaks to cruise through the fjords.

A dream of a place to stay, we didn't even want to travel on. Very well maintained Hytte, beautiful and equipped with all imaginable amenities (bathtub overlooking the sea, sauna, etc.). Perfectly located for excursions in the area ( e.g. Fedje) and in a setting that is simply breathtaking. We felt very comfortable here.
