Holiday rentals with beach access in Avarua

I structured this review into three sections to provide as much useful information as possible for interested guests: the apartment, the location, and the host. The apartment is absolutely beautiful and located right by the beach. Since it’s elevated, you get an amazing view, and it is incredibly spacious. The kitchen is particularly outstanding—perfect if you enjoy cooking. I also don’t think I’ve ever seen such a large shower before! The location was perfect for us. We wanted to avoid the eastern part of the island since the lagoon's water quality has reportedly declined over the past decades. The northern area is quite busy and also home to the airport, so I think the west and south are the best choices. A few restaurants are nearby, but I highly recommend renting a car to go shopping and generally get around during your stay. One of the best airbnb stays I've ever had. Tere and family made me feel welcome immediately, and are absolutely fantastic hosts. They gave me great recommendations on where to find good food, the convenience store that's open late, and best things to see and do. The penthouse is cozy and clean, the bed comfortable, and the views are stunning. Enjoy the sunsets from the balcony or the beach, which is a literal stone's throw away. Don't overthink this one. I'd happily stay in the penthouse again, or one of their villas. Meitaki ma'ata, thank you all for an amazing holiday!

We have just returned from spending 10 days at Lynn's place and cannot recommend her Air BnB enough. Lynn was so helpful with all our questions as this was the first time for us to visit Rarotonga. Extremely well priced when we compared other places we could have stayed. The unit is fully self contained and a home away from home. We appreciated so many things, the well equipped kitchen, the fans and air conditioner in the bedroom, the comfortable seating, stainless steel kitchen bench, decent shower, extra containers in the kitchen to put leftovers in, the lovely deck overlooking the garden and the proximity to the beach, shops and airport. While many people choose to stay in a resort, we were thankful we had chosen this lovely home away from home. Thoroughly recommend Lynn's place.

Julie and I would like to thank Lotu from the moment I booked the communication was first rate . The property was perfect for the two of us and was exactly as described and only had to walk out the back door to be on the Lagoon The fruit basket coffee tea even milk in the fridge was appreciated Also a big thankyou to Sala who called in regularly to see if we needed anything We couldnt have been any happier and didnt want to leave after our 4 week stay Once again Thankyou. Amazing vacation spot! 🏝️ location is great, with a beautiful beach and peaceful environment. Clean spacious house, including a private clean pool made the stay even more enjoyable

We arrived to find provisions in the spotless kitchen - fresh bread, eggs, milk, coffee, beers, wine, salmon pate, cured meats (wow!!!). The place is spotless and nicer than the photos. It's 15-20 feet from the water, on a sandy beach, shady and sunny outdoor sitting areas with protection from the wind. Kayaks, snorkel gear and beach shoes are available. The bed is very comfy. The bathroom is huge and the washer works amazing. Location is perfect - the beach is amazing and very safe for swimming (with a slight lateral current during the tides which feels like a swimming treadmill - so fun!). Snorkelling is excellent with many species of colourful fish and corals. I saw an friendly octopus right in front of the cottage. There is a small grocery store, safe and great car rental place 700m away. The Yellow Hibiscus restaurant is incredible and only 500m away - a must! This was one of the best places we have ever stayed. Connie is a fab host and Rarotonga is magic.

We loved the place! Right next door to a great cafe, right on the beach front. Lovely outlook to the lagoon whilst having breakfast! 2 huge bedrooms with ensuite and large wardrobe areas, plus one room with 2 singles and bathroom next door. Emmy was very responsive with my questions. We would definitely go back given the opportunity.

We had a lovely time at Muri skies for our 2 week stay on Rarotonga. Ben and Sherri provided a very well equipped bungalow with everything you need for a self catering stay. They are also very friendly and helpful and provided some groceries and even some beers on our arrival! Muri main street and the lagoon are only a few minutes walk away too. If you like cats you will feel like you’ve got 3 of your own as they are always up on the outside deck with you sharing the space 😁

It was such a lovely stay, 2 of my friends and I stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed every night. It was like a real life Moana movie with the chickens there. The abundance of fruit in the backyard was amazing! The host were the most accommodating and kind people, everything we needed was available to utilise. If we ever get the chance to return to Rarotonga we would love to stay here again!

It is a great spacious place. They really helped us in the preparation. It is located close to a great snorkelling beach.

I and my Family had a Great stay! Lovely kitchen and livingroom area. Lot‘s if space! And a well equipped kitchen and three sleepingrooms and three outdoor Seetang areas. We highly recommend this Place! Hans-Erik Switzerland
