This is our second stay at this property. It is situated in a lovely area below the hilltop medieval town of Castelo de Vide. The grounds are spectacular with trees, plants, rock work and charming details. There are several exterior spaces for quiet reflection as well as dining. There are views both large and small. A rooftop terrace is perfect for morning coffee accompanied by chirping birds, the tinkling of bells from the necks of sheep grazing near by, and the sound of the fountain feeding the pool. Or for cocktails at sunset. It is heaven! The house is quite large, with ample space for gathering both indoors and out. Suzanne, the hostess, is very responsive and helpful with suggestions about places to see, local restaurants and events. We will be back.

Foi como se de um retiro se tratasse! Era mesmo o que precisávamos: o descanso, a calmaria, a privacidade. Deu para colocarmos o bronze e a leitura em dia. Tomar o pequeno-almoço ao ar livre é uma coisa tão simples, mas na correria da vida não é tão fácil e na casa da Ana era obrigatório! Adoramos todos os pôr-de-sol que assistimos e esperamos voltar. Marvão é, sem dúvida, maravilhoso. Recomendamos o atelier do Paulo Gouveia onde compramos uma linda pintura onde a cortiça é a personagem principal. Terá especial lugar na nossa sala onde nos recordaremos para sempre destas férias repletas de paz e harmonia. Desejamos à Ana e ao seu espaço o maior sucesso e agradecemos todas as dicas e a garrafa de vinho saborosa que nos deixou!

notre séjour chez Erica était superbe la maison est très bien, très propre, les lits très confortable. Erica est très gentille souriante et disponible elle donne plein de conseils que nous avons fait. nous recommandons la maison. nous avons un très bon souvenir c'était super !

Der Aufenthalt war wirklich perfekt.😊 Meine Freundin und ich haben die Unterkunft gebucht, um die Feira Golegã, das Lusitanofestival in Golegã, zu besuchen. Mit dem Auto war es von der Unterkunft perfekt in 40-50 Minuten zu erreichen, sodass wir den Aufenthalt sehr genossen haben. Joanna war super freundlich, hat uns empfangen, uns alles gezeigt und uns die besten Empfehlungen für die Gegend gegeben, sodass wir immer toll essen konnten etc. Ich würde jederzeit wieder kommen. 🫶🏻

Casa fantástica para passar uns dias de descanso no Alentejo. Estava tudo impecável, limpo, com as comodidades e utensílios necessários. Foi pena estar chuva, não pudemos aproveitar a piscina que tinha muito bom aspecto! Muito perto de Arraiolos

La maison est très paisible, confortable, très propre, bien décorée, et bien agencé. On a passé un super séjour. Sandra est très sympathique, disponible et réactive. On recommande.

I had a lovely stay at Alberto's house. From the beginning, Alberto and his wife were incredibly kind and attentive, always available to help and ensure everything went smoothly. Their warm hospitality made me feel very welcome. The house is comfortable and well-suited for a family of four, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. One of the highlights was the beautiful view of the surrounding nature and the peaceful, quiet atmosphere—perfect for resting and disconnecting. The location, in the countryside near Marvão, Castelo de Vide, and other Alto Alentejo highlights, is ideal for those looking to explore the region’s charm and natural beauty. It’s a great base for day trips, though it’s important to note that the house can only be reached by car. Overall, this is a cozy and well-located home in a tranquil area with thoughtful and welcoming hosts. I would gladly return and highly recommend it to others.

We spent a really enjoyable time in this property! The space was not only comfortable and clean but turned out to be great for children as well. The kids enjoyed discovering the place and having fun with the amenities, and we enjoyed watching them having so much joy. I would definitely recommend this place to families who want to unwind and spend quality time!

Passamos uns dias, com a família, no alojamento do Miguel. Foi tudo perfeito para nós. As casas eram confortáveis. O espaço comum era amplo e bem organizado para o convívio. Gostamos muito

Tina’s place is a gem and so is Tina. She was super friendly and welcoming. The apartment is well equipped and the pool and surroundings are delightful. The bed is comfortable and on a platform accessed by a steep staircase. The town of Estremoz is fascinating with the biggest town square. We found an exceptional, if pricey restaurant. We would stay at Tina’s place again.

We had a wonderful stay at Daniel’s place and we can highly recommend it. The house was perfect for our stay, and the pool and outside area were stunning! Daniel was extremely helpful and responsive, from the moment we booked. The house is the perfect location for privacy, but also in terms of distance from Evora and surrounding towns. Thank you Daniel!

Mike's place is exactly as he describes. He is a very receptive host who anticipates your needs. His airbnb is a peaceful serene spot that was wonderful to wake up at. Although our stay was short, it was unforgettable. We highly recommend a stay with Mike!

Espaço excelente para vir com família, amigos e patudos! O Francisco recebeu-nos com legumes orgânicos, cultivados pelo próprio. A casa está bem preparada para receber grupos grandes, com o conforto de recursos suficientes para a comodidade de todos. Nunca nos faltou entretenimento, com todas as atividades de lazer disponíveis. Sempre muito prestável, permitiu-nos sair no final da tarde de domingo, o que nos proporcionou um Domingo de Páscoa inesquecível. Excelente qualidade preço, recomendarei certamente a todos!! Wij waren met een groep van 11 dames en hier was het huis ideaal voor. Ruim, van alle gemakken voorzien, veel badkamers, prachtig en rustig gelegen en sfeervol. Op loopafstand een schattig bakkertje en groentenwinkeltje maar ook 2 supermarkten. Margarida reageerde op alle berichten snel, vriendelijk en duidelijk. Dat onze aankomsttijd steeds veranderde was geen enkel probleem. Bij aankomst heette ze ons hartelijk welkom, legde alles duidelijk uit en ze had zelfs sinaasappels voor ons geplukt. Al met al echt een aanrader, prijs-kwaliteit dik voor elkaar.

Adoramos tudo. A Maria Francisca e o marido são pessoas extremamente educadas, prestativas, simpáticas e sempre à disposição. O espaço deles é exatamente como nas fotos. Uma casa não tão moderna, mas com todas as comodidades e conforto. O ar condicionado também é excelente. Recomendo muito e assim que possível, voltaremos.

Numa região ainda com muito por descobrir, o Monte Poejo apresenta-se como um retiro protegido e agradável. Um espaço amplo, adequado a brincadeiras de crianças e receptivo a cães.

We really enjoyed Sofia's place. Great gateway from the city and very family-friendly.. The house is comfortable, clean, nicely decorated and with plenty practical little details for you not to miss a thing and feel like home. They even had some sweets and snacks ready for us when we arrived, and the basic kitchen products for cooking (and more). The garden and the little farm are a great complement to the stay. Our 3-year old daughter had a wonderful time playing pretend in the little wooden playhouse and interacting with the animals. Sofia's father was very thoughtful and engaged our daughter in feeding the animals, picking the eggs or giving a bottle to the baby goats. Pity she was a bit scared to ride on Emilia the pony. Surroundings are also delightful. We went for a family bike ride to ecopista. All in all, we were simply a happy family at Sofia's place. We definitely recommend it!

Adorámos a estadia, o espaço é ótimo para grupos grandes e com crianças. Tanto a Catarina como a Dona Gina foram bastante flexíveis para maximizar a usufruicao do espaço pelo grupo. Muito obrigado :)

Spent three weeks in this charming house. Absolutely unique place. Situated in a hidden valley with beautiful surroundings. Lovely walks directly from the house, nothing other than natural sounds make relaxing in the garden a real pleasure and the lack of light pollution makes for stunning star gazing. Daniel is an excellent host for whom nothing is too much trouble. We loved staying here and would recommend it unreservedly.

O único problema nesta estadia..... é que foram poucos dias, encontramos uma casa familiar, com tudo o que precisamos para uns belos dias de descanso. o espaço de lazer virado para um olival é uma maravilha, só temos pena de ter ido numa altura que o tempo não ajudou. a casa é muito espaçosa e tem muitos jogos para entreter adultos e graúdos. apenas como apontamento, uma churrasqueira era uma maravilha ( mas a grelha eléctrica também deu conta do trabalho). Um alojamento a regressar. obrigada pela disponibilidade e pelas rápidas respostas a algumas perguntas desnecessárias 😂.

Fantástica casa, sitio y trato. Increíble recibimiento, todo muy cuidado y muy limpio. Muy atentos y encantadores los anfitriones en todo momento. El bizcocho de bienvenida, riquísimo!! Los niños encantados con todo. Una casa ideal para ir en familia. Una semana Santa cerca de Fátima inolvidable. Si podemos volveremos encantados.
