Holiday rentals with lake access in Bacalar Municipality

Peaceful and relaxing place. Each bedroom was a mini-studio: private bathroom, mini-fridge, electric kettle/coffee maker, desk, & patio kitchenette. Friendly & responsive host.

This is the perfect house for a large group. My party of 10 adults loved the house and the location. The pictures don’t do it justice. We especially appreciated the outdoor kitchen and the use of the Beach Club next door. Our host Luis was very responsive to all my questions. Checking in was a breeze! Pablo the onsite maintenance guy was great. He helped us with so much during our stay and he does a great job maintaining the house and the beach club. Thank you so much Pablo! Our overall experience was amazing and 100 percent recommend staying at this property!

An incredible place, me and my family really enjoyed our stay, the view of the lagoon is beautiful and the cabanas are comfortable and clean. Eva's recommendations were very good as well as communication with her. I would definitely go back to this place :)

We had a fabulous three days. The house is gorgeous. The dock is very nice, we were able to make a very pleasant cayak outing. Dafne welcomed us very warmly, called us taxis, gave us good restaurant tips and offered us the services of a cook who cooked us delicious Mexican dishes at an unbeatable price. We were able to leave our suitcases when we arrived and on the day of our departure so we were able to enjoy a little more Bacalar. Thank you Francoise for hosting us.

Very nice location with private access to the lagoon. We spent the majority of the time outdoors. Everything is set up in this direction. (Palapa, Hammocks, sun loungers, canoes, BBQ etc) The A/C in the rooms is essential at night, given the temperatures:) The host is very responsive to any questions or issues. We enjoyed a lot during this quiet stay. A real little paradise!

The place is great, it has everything to spend a few pleasant days. The host was very helpful at all time. It has a very good location, it is safe and is in front of the lagoon.

I had an amazing stay at Casa Los Abuelos in Bacalar! The view of the lagoon is absolutely stunning waking up to those vibrant shades of blue was pure magic. The property is surrounded by lush greenery, making it feel like a peaceful retreat tucked away in nature. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared, and all the amenities were great everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The only minor inconvenience was the WiFi, which was a bit spotty during our visit, but that was due to the weather and didn’t take away from the experience at all. If you’re looking for a serene escape with breathtaking views and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, this is the place. Would definitely come back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Nani's place, he was always on the lookout, he made us very good recommendations. The area was great, with dining options and direct access to the lagoon that we really enjoyed. Everything was as it was described in the listing and even better. We will definitely be back in Bacalar and staying with Nani if possible.

nice and comfortable rooms, just a little removed from the village, so it could be a little difficult if you don't have a car, but if you want to relax very calmly away from the noise it's unbeatable, I really liked it, beautiful view of the lagoon, I would come back again

We spent an blissful 4 nights at the lagoon room. During that time, it felt like we had the waterfront and dock all to ourselves. We swam, hung out on a floatie, and ate a couple times at the restaurant across the street. There is also a tiny market nearby, called Spot, where you can get beverages and snacks if you're not able to get into town. We had originally planned to bike in, but due to a recent ankle sprain, we opted for cabs. Taxis are about 40-60 pesos to/from centro and the ADO station. You could bike, but I didnt see many other people doing it due to how fast the cabs and cars go on the road into town. We loved our stay at the Lagoon room, and thank you to Liz, Tania, and all the staff at the hotel for being so kind and helpful.

We loved staying there. Peaceful, quiet, the pristine water lapping Miranda was very helpful in organizing massages and boat tour ... and always responsive within minutes the entire experience was very relaxing ... highly recommend

Each room has its own bathroom, I love that. Very nice, but not recommended to go with children or older adults, since there are too many stairs and the house has a lot of unevenness that can be dangerous. Outside of that, a beautiful place within the jungle perfect to connect with the lagoon

What a dream! Olga and he place are so much fun! Sitting out on the deck watching the water is what it’s all about! The kayaks, coffee, tea, and laundry were all a huge plus! But Olga and her care really made this place above and beyond! The town is great and there’s lots to do and see even in the rain. Recommend for a relaxed time in Bacalar ❤️

an idyllic place, close to nature, with Jose enthusiastically sharing his knowledge. the decor of the minimalist and colorful house matches the place very well. We had a lovely stay at your place. The private dock with turtle and fish on the lagoon is magical too

it is a spacious, heated house, the perfect pool and the perfect grill. the recommendations and service from the host were very good for family rlmolan.
