Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Baião

Nous avons loué les 2 maisons pour des retrouvailles familiales. C'était sublime d'avoir une belle vue sur la vallée, une piscine privée et un beau verger très bien entretenu avec des salades, tomates, courges, potiron, poivrons, raisins, fruits de la passion... Très belle région à découvrir. merci Eduardo pour tous vos conseils et votre réactivité.

We stayed at Casa Da Torre for 7 days and loved it. The place is spacious, private, and peaceful, with great views over the Douro River. It is a great base for exploring the Duoro River valley. Marta was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

Alojamiento para disfrutarlo a tope, cada rincón muy cuidado y con muchos detalles agradables. Situado a las afueras de Amarante, en una zona muy tranquila. Zona de barbacoa y piscina inmejorables, ideal para pasar unos días en familia. La casa no es muy grande, pero está bien aprovechada y no le falta de nada. Por otro lado, la atención de Paulo es digna de elogio, preocupándose en cada momento de nuestro bienestar, y contando con la ayuda de unos maravillosos vecinos que nos hicieron la estancia muy amena y agradable. Sin duda la calidad/precio es más que recomendable, repetiriamos con los ojos cerrados ahora que conocemos a Paulo y su entorno. Y otra cosa, vaya descubrimiento el Vino Verde de la zona, ¡qué rico! 🤤😃 Muchas gracias por todo, volveremos.

Une très belle maison en montagne ! Le grand balcon permet de profiter du paysage et des odeurs du délicat parfum des fleurs d'oranger. Nous avons eu le privilège de manger des oranges fraîchement cuillies de l'arbre. Joāo est serviable et réactif et nous a accueilli avec de belles attentions dont une bouteille de vin du monastère tout près.

What an EXTRAORDINARY accommodation Casa Marmelo was for our group of 8 adults when visiting the Douro valley !!! Host Kate was super to work -- right from our initial contact for information through our date of departure. What an excellent WELCOME GUIDE she provided before our arrival - with valuable tips and suggestions for activities and dining throughout the area. Housekeeper Helene too could not have been more kind, charming, and helpful. What delicious breakfasts she made for us each morning. The entire property was kept so clean and tidy. What a memorable time we all had -- we all hope to be back!

Myself and my partner booked four nights at Cesar and Paula's beautiful vacation rental and loved it. Everything was perfect and our hosts were a joy to meet. They are the most lovely, friendly and helpful hosts you could hope to encounter. Apart from helpful suggestions, Cesar went out of his way to assist us with tasks we were planning. They both personally showed us around the property and even gifted us a bottle of his rose wine. We stayed in Casa 1 (but also saw the other rental options) and can say that the attention to detail, the interior design, which works really well with the restored stone buildings, is outstanding. Another fantastic feature is the gorgeous pool overlooking views of the Douro. We know we'll be back here soon!

Perfect jumping off point for Douro Valley. The house served our family of 5 well. We had a great experience with the property manager, Beatriz. She was very communicative and even helped us ship home a few items we left behind. Overall a great stay.

We loved our two week stay at Loivos da Ribera - a smaller valley right next to the Douro Valley. The house has been recently renovated and suited us - spacious with lots of areas nearby to explore. We could walk into the tiny village for basic supplies and then a short drive to Maseo Frio for a large grocery shop. Lots to explore in the Douro and very beautiful with flowering fruit trees (April) and the vines starting to sprout. Had a wonderful walk through the Quinta de Covela - a short drive from the house. The next door neighbours were very helpful when we had car problems, and Okke was very responsive and helpful with suggestions about the area.

Fantastisk beliggenhet og nydelig utsikt. Perfekt med basseng utenfor og muligheten for å spise frokost i solen rett med bassenget. Leiligheten ligger like ved dem som bor i hovedhuset, men det oppleves adskilt, selv om hundene liker å komme bort og si hei. Selve leiligheten hadde alt man trengte for å lage mat og kaffe. Anbefaler alle å være her mange dager!
