“Gorgeous location. Wonderful view of the mountains. Really quiet spot with lovely trails to walk through the woods. Marco and his family were very nice. They made us coffee upon our arrival and offered a number of great restaurants to visit. Wifi works great for all basic needs -- email, social media, etc. -- but a little slow for downloading big files or streaming video (just an fyi in case you have to work with big files).”
“Wonderful stay, we had a great time. Carla and Francesco hosted us with kindness and affection that they reserve for their loved ones, yet we had never seen each other before. The bus had left us in the motorway service station, they came to pick us up and on their return they accompanied us to a more comfortable country to leave. In the middle of the week we even received a very pleasant invitation to lunch. In short, the best you can ask for hospitality!”
HOLIDAYS IN HISTORICAL AMBIENCE
“I have had many good experiences with Airbnb stays but the time with Kelechi, Peter and Constantin was special. They are a very friendly, attentive host family and probably because of the nice atmosphere during the extensive (and very delicious) breakfasts and dinners you feel very fast, as if you were almost part of the family. If that is too close to you, the (optional but highly recommended) meals in the room could be taken. In addition to beds, closet, fireplace, couch, there is also a separate dining table. I was a little over a week guest and have used the time for extensive road bike tours into the countryside. But the accommodation is ideal: There are plenty of opportunities to accommodate wheels and the location, a bit off the (not too busy anyway) main roads let you quickly dive into the wonderful nature. If you like, however, it can be topographically challenging: The famous, sometimes quite steep, ramps of the Nove Colli are just as quick to reach, as the slightly longer climbs on the Apennines main ridge, z. Mount Fumaiolo or Monte Carpegna, Marco Pantani's mountain ("Il Carpegna mi basta!"). Also for MTB riders the environment should have a lot to offer, at least there is a fairly extensive hiking trail network. I had a super nice time and can definitely recommend the property!”
