Spend an afternoon with master leather artisans in our Barcelona workshop, where you'll learn how to make a custom leather belt. • We'll start by sharing the history of leatherworking in Barcelona, explaining why we love working with leather, and guiding you through the belt-making process. • Next, you'll select the hide and buckle you'd like to use, and we'll help you cut, edge, and prepare the leather. • Then, we'll guide you through the process of burnishing the edges for a polished finish and decorating the belt through painting, embossing, or engraving it. Once you attach the buckle, you'll have a durable, beautiful leather belt that you made yourself!

A historian’s guide through Barcelona’s Old Town

Barcelona is an open-air museum: in every street, square, and monument, traces of over 20 centuries of history can be found. In this tour, historian Carmen, from Entrespacios, will offer a unique perspective on some of the most emblematic places in the Old Town, moving away from traditional narratives to dive into the true essence of the city: its history. We will begin at the ancient Temple of Augustus, where we’ll explore the origins of the city. Next, we’ll learn about the story of a 13-year-old martyr, whose tale will help us understand how the arrival of Christianity marked a paradigm shift from the ancient world. We’ll continue at Santa María del Pi, a lesser-known yet fascinating church, part of a tradition of building temples that reflect the conception of God through their luminous and majestic architecture. As we move towards the heart of the Gothic Quarter, we will encounter majestic palaces that evoke Barcelona’s golden age, when the city ruled the Mediterranean. We will finish at the cathedral, a place where the past and present of Barcelona come together, revealing the power and historical significance of this metropolis. As the architect behind its renovation, I’ll guide you through its past, design, and hidden gems. • We’ll meet at Montjuïc Castle’s entrance after your visit. From there, we’ll explore its military past, political role, and renovation challenges before taking in panoramic city views. • At Mirador del Alcalde, we’ll admire city and port views, including the old and new ports and hidden lighthouses that helped shape Ildefons Cerdà’s city grid. • Crossing Jardins de Joan Brossa, I’ll share memories of the old amusement park I visited with my father. Not long ago, people lived here in poor conditions, shaping Montjuïc’s evolution. We’ll also visit Plaça de la Sardana, dedicated to Catalonia’s traditional dance. • Exiting Joan Brossa Gardens, we’ll reach the Olympic diving pool, featured in a Dua Lipa video. Here, we’ll conclude with a final drink at SALTS, soaking in stunning views. Alternatively, you can visit Fundació Joan Miró or take the Montjuïc funicular back to the city. Explore the Hidden Secrets of Art at Joan Barbarà's Atelier

Welcome to Studio 46 Barcelona, an atelier and private gallery founded in 1974 by Catalan master engraver and artist Joan Barbarà. Located in the Gràcia district, it is a cornerstone of Barcelona’s artistic heritage and one of the best-kept secrets in the city. Our space has hosted over 300 artists, including masters such as Joan Miró, Antoni Tapies, Salvador Dali, and Richard Hamilton, and contemporary talents like Lorenzo Quinn, Juliana Plexxo, Om Barbara and JJ Walker. A welcome drink will be waiting for you while I share an overview of Studio 46 and its significance and fascinating history, starting with the legacy of Barbarà and his collaborations with many iconic 20th-century artists. We’ll explore the workshop, where you’ll learn about various engraving techniques and see some of the incredible works created in this historic space. Finally, we’ll visit the private gallery, still a working studio for many contemporary artists, who continue to reinterpret and innovate engraving and mixed media in exciting ways. BONUS: 100% of your tour fee will be credited towards any artwork in the studio, including original engravings from one of our featured artists. I’ll guide you step-by-step. • Add personal touches or designs inspired by ancient Roman styles, and prepare your unguentarium for drying, firing, and finishing. Choose to have your piece fired and shipped (shipping not included), or take home a similar vessel from my studio. Professional photo shoot, Couples too

The photoshoot will be starting at the Cathedral de Barcelona in and then we will be making our way down several beautiful history filled streets of the Gothic quarter including a few of my favourites that have been kept a secret. If this is your first time doing a photoshoot then you just met the right photographer, I will show you how to pose and be at ease in front of the camera while having fun! Traveling alone?
