Holiday rentals with lake access in Basque Country

Amazing property, absolutely stunning surroundings, incredible area. The house is ever so rustic and charming, a real gem. We felt so relaxed and at home. Hosts are charming and generous. Neighbour also very helpful. Oh yes, the cat, chickens and free eggs are adorable!!

We love the location and views, right on the river. Her place was spotless and we had everything we needed. Great place to relax, walk along the river and explore nearby areas. Would definitely come again.

It is a lovely room: neat, clean, cozy, a nice seat with coffee/ tea and some goodies, nice view. A luxurious bathroom, everything was very clean. Rober is very friendly and the welcome was warm and attentive. Robert recommended us a great restaurant. The entire house is in a nice quiet place. We were only there for 1 night but could have stayed a little longer if we had the time.

Stay in a spectacular location. Very quiet village with very friendly people. The house is just as described in the listing, fully equipped and very comfortable. Maria is very attentive and proactive in all the issues we did, as well as the recommendations he gave us, which made us eat in the area very close to the house, traditional food from the exquisite region. Undoubtedly, Úgar and Valle de Yerri is marked on our travel map for future destinations!

Enrique is very kind and hospitable. Because we arrived late, he emailed us a shortcut and waited for us at the entrance. Enrique and his girlfriend told us about various tourist spots and good bars. Every restaurant was delicious. The room was clean, spacious and relaxing. The breakfast was also satisfying, with coffee, tea, yogurt, fruit, bread, etc. I'd like to go again if I have the opportunity. I made a lot of fun memories. Muchas gracias‼

Overall a wonderful and rare find in this small village (so much space, private terrace, washer AND dryer, and air conditioning!!) We had a 6 and 3 year old and it was such a perfect spot- they even had board games and toys for us to use. Jaime was super responsive upon arrival and settling in. It's in a great part of town that is walkable to the main square and beach but far enough to not hear all the noise. Would happily stay here again if we had the chance! Eskerrik asko Jaime!

The apartment is nice and comfortable: the sea and mountain views are superb. Perfect for sightseeing. We recommend.

Great place in Ampuero, 15-20 minutes from Laredo by car where it is very easy to park. Beautiful setting with mountains as background. Very clean, very functional accommodation with a very friendly and lively village life on weekends. Village walkable for shops and restaurants. Beatriz was very attentive and responsive. Very nice hosting by her.

Euskadi is a magical place. Bermeo embodies a lot of the essence of the identity of the Basque people. Recia and good people, history and traditions go hand in this beautiful city. Goize's apartment makes you forget that you are a stranger and it becomes a home that welcomes you by making you feel at home. The best way to feel part of everything around you when you are in the Basque Country.

Asuncion is very friendly and professional but you better to understand Spanish. We felt she's taking care of place to make guests feel comfortable. Nice kitchen with a lot of staff, two good bathrooms, great WiFi. Location is unbeatable especially if you need to play with the children. Go to the north, there is a fountain, great kids space, peacock freely walking in the park, another great kids place near the Guggenheim Museum. At some nights (usually Thursday and Friday) teens might be very noisy in the park until 2am. At the same time you will hear nothing from the main street with traffic and the bar nearby. Double beds actually two single beds put together. Like the place, you really will be in heart of Bilbao without lots of noise and crowd, rare combination.

The ideal apartment, brand new, even unfinished areas. Tastefully decorated, functional, the sofa bed is practical and very comfortable. Everything was very clean and with cleaning and hygiene products.

A really spacious and comfortable apartment, which allowed us to take a pet with us, a requirement that few places allowed us. On the other hand Gemma was very compressible and flexible with us at all times, which we really appreciate. It was a pleasure our stay at this wonderful apartment.

The house is exactly as described. It was Igor's sister Nerea who looked after us. She was always available to answer any questions we had. The location is great to visit many towns in northern Spain. The balcony and outdoor furniture could do with updating. Overall we were very happy and had a lovely holiday
