This newly renovated apartment is tucked above what used to be the original "ice house" in Corny. Before the days of refrigerators blocks of ice were stored in sawdust in the garage below. This homey farmhouse rental is the entire second story with a separate entrance (our tasting room is on the main floor). Three bedrooms (two queen beds and two twin beds) and one bathroom. This is a comfortable one-bedroom unit surrounded by mature trees and is located on the Madeline Island Golf Course. It is in a quiet spot, yet just a mile to the Town of La Pointe, with its art galleries, restaurants and bars. Lake access for swimming or launching a kayak is a short distance in the other direction.
