Lady Luna’s Dak Bungalow

This romantic place to stay offers a history all its own. Built in approximately 1940, it’s ideal and idyllic for couples and solo travellers. The space, created with a lot of love and thought, is made more special with its lawn against the backdrop of the mighty Dhauladhars. Ideal to practise yoga, meditation or just enjoy a hot beverage whilst bird spotting and certainly to fire up the bbq grill. The name is nostalgic to the Dak Bangla under British India, meant for travellers and postmen.

Our cottage is Kathkuni-built, made using upcycled timber and 18inch natural stones that keeps the room insulated at all times, it also has rustic mud interiors that adds to the insulation. The rooms are very spacious, have book nooks, a coffee table and a balcony. We also have an experiential kitchen at our property where we make multi-cuisine food freshly on order.
