Access to the beach (yes beach) and beautiful, clear lake were unsurpassed. Boat was in great condition. Our favorite parts were the great decks, deck furniture, dock for kids to fish and all the toys in the storage area!

We had an awesome time staying at Maddie's cabin! It's such a beautiful and cozy cabin and we felt right at home. It's quite secluded and private, with no neighbors in sight. Perfect for a little getaway from the cities! The house has everything you need. Just bring your own drinking water. We'd definitely come back!

The cabin was very spacious and had everything we needed to enjoy a great weekend with family.

The chapel house was the perfect location for our wedding. I wouldn’t have changed anything about it. Beautiful location beautiful building and amazing history.

This is our second time visiting Detroit Lakes, MN and we absolutely loved staying at Jake’s cottage! It was in a great location, it was about 8 - 10 minutes from town and the view of the lake was absolutely stunning! It was so peaceful and we felt right at home, we slept like babies all weekend. It was a much needed vacation and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

We had a wonderful stay at this property, it accommodated four of us very nicely for a small get together. It was clean and beautifully decorated, looked just like the pictures. We loved the bright open floor plan for all of us to hang out together and enjoyed sitting outside on the deck. There were plenty of basic supplies available for use. It is a nice location being close to Detroit Lakes and other restaurants. I would recommend bringing bottled water for drinking purposes as the water did have a taste to it. Overall it was a great experience and we would definitely stay there again.

Had a nice, quiet & quaint stay. With our 4 guests we were happy with the two bathrooms and the washer and dryer access. Couch and beds were comfortable. Kitchen was loaded with anything that you would need. Would stay here again!

Words can not describe how incredible of a stay we had! It was a perfect weekend getaway, and only a short 4 hour drive from the cities. Very clean, very warm and cozy, loved the cabin decor and super spacious. We will definitely be back! The host was fantastic, with great communication and so friendly.

Nice house. Would stay again

Staying here was a last minute decision to get away from a life after a few very hard months. It was so relaxing and beautiful. A great space to clear the mind, reflect, reminisce, and accept recent events. Sitting in the hot tub under a beautiful star filled night was exactly what we needed. My 3 year old daughter really enjoyed the bunk beds and playing outside with our 2 dogs who loved running and playing in the yard. They even ventured to the frozen pond to check it out. Will be coming back in the summer with our son and nephew. We loved the separate building with the pool table and darts even our daughter had a fun time running around the pool table getting rid of some energy.

If you are looking for a place that is beautiful and has lots of room to spread out, this one is for you. Our large family gathered here for a fun filled family vacation. We loved loved loved the hot tub! It ended up being a cooler weekend so it was perfect. We rented a jet ski from a place in Detroit Lakes to add to the fun. All of the outdoor levels were wonderful! Also, there was a very comfortable bed in the master bedroom! I highly recommend it!

This is an amazing place to stay! The location is so beautiful and peaceful. You can fish and completely relax-the property/lake are unmatched! The lake is on 3 sides of the property and you can fish right off the dock if you want. We also brought our own boat and went fishing everyday-our teenage boys loved it. We caught so many fish and they also let us bring our dog, which added to the fun. The host and his siblings are very friendly and responsive-you couldn't ask for better. The large kitchen table is also nice that at night we could play cards. They have lots of outdoor seating, but we also brought our own bag chairs which were nice to use right by the lake. If you're looking to make family memories in a peaceful location, this is the place to go!
