The home is about 10 minutes away from the Earl G. Williamson State Park, where numerous fishing tournaments are held. It is a short 20-minute drive to Shreveport.

Night Shyamalan "Caddo Lake" was seen from the waterfront of Pelican Place. The patio is perfect for grilling dinner while enjoying the beautiful scenery of Caddo Lake. The updated interior of the house has maintained its rustic charm; provides a complete kitchen, private bedroom & queen sleeper sofa in living room. Located on a 2 acre peninsula on Pine Island, this 450 sf treehouse is surrounded by 1400 feet of Cross Lake. Beautiful open water and cypress tree views epitomize Louisiana lake living. The treehouse has an open concept living area with a queen bed, claw foot tub and equipped kitchenette, with countertop oven/toaster, microwave, coffee pot, electric skillet, refrigerator and sink. It accommodates two adults, no children or pets. Two night minimum stay, no exceptions.

Pine Island Paradise 3/2 on Caddo with Generator

Enjoy the peace and quiet, a cold beverage and a gentle lake breeze on the porch of this cozy getaway. Pine Island Paradise offers beautiful views of Caddo Lake. Seating, a picnic table and ceiling fans are located on a private boat dock and pier perfect for fishing. A great location for private getaways and family gatherings. Large kitchen with plenty of room for entertaining. This 3 bedroom and 2 bath home can accommodate up to 6 adults. Whole house generator.

The Blue House on Cross Lake

This cottage was built circa 1926 on Cross Lake as the home for Lonnie Erwin who owned a catfish restaurant next to his home. Back in the day it was popular to drive up from Shreveport if they caught enough catfish to serve. The restaurant closed in the mid 1940s and it and the cottage fell into disrepair. We renovated the cottage and restaurant (also on Airbnb as The Red House on Cross Lake) and brought them up to date.
