Fernances Creek Farm is one hour north of Sydney in the picturesque Wollombi Valley. Ten minutes from Laguna with the Watagan Mountains and Yengo National Park on our doorstep. The Hunter Valley vineyards start here, with Broke & Pokolbin vineyards 45 minutes away. We are a Haflinger Horse stud on 210 acres, with show jumping and eventing facilities. Great for couples and families, the Back Forty Solar Cottage is a fully featured off grid solar home with all of the comforts and space to relax.

Self-contained with two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other has your choice of king or twin beds. A large living area with a slow combustion wood burning fire and reverse cycle air-conditioning. The bedrooms have ceiling fans and electric blankets for cool winter nights. Equipped kitchen with stove top, oven, microwave and full size fridge. There's a BBQ on your own outdoor balcony, where you can enjoy the glorious view of the sun setting over the vineyard. Individual 2-Bedroom Villa which can accommodate up to 6 persons. The rate includes up to 6 persons. If more than 4 please let us know so that we can make up the sofa bed. There are 2 bedrooms both with Queen size beds, approximately 1.6m (W) x 2.0m (L). Plus there is a double sofa bed which can sleep 2 adults. Each villa has a seasonal wood burning combustion fire, kitchen (no oven), 2 Burner stove top, and hooded BBQ on the verandah. There are 2 full bathrooms, one includes a bath.
