Welcome to Sítio Porto Taigun, a spacious, quiet property in nature and with a unique history, on the banks of the João de Tiba River in Santo André, Bahia. Our property, one of the oldest in the village, is named after the sailboat that brought the couple Jürgen and Ana Lúcia to the then small village of Santo André in the early 1980s. This special place was carefully selected to become both the couple's new home and a port for the vessel. Hence the name: Porto Taigun.

The accommodation has a hammock for resting outside the house, enjoying the sea breeze. If guests want to sunbathe or have a happy hour for two or three, the roof of the guest house is open to visitors. We provide bed linen, however, we DO NOT provide bath linen (towels).

Beach House in Canavieiras - Bahia

Our accommodation is situated between the sea and the river, which carries freshwater. The house is spacious and cozy, has a nice garden, lots of hammocks to relax and a wonderful view of the sunset from the above veranda. The accommodation is suitable for couples, families with children or a group of friends. Whether it is a twosome or a tenth, it offers every individual its privacy.
