Welcome to the Steampunk Room in the Hwy 36 Hideaway - now under new ownership! This cozy little room is where simple comfort meets unexpected charm! This room is a charming single motel style room located in the newly remodeled vintage 1940s limestone faced motel, formerly the Wright motel. It is themed in honor of the Tri State Thresher Show which is held every July in Bird City. It features 1 queen bed, 1 twin XL, 1 sleeper couch, 1 bath, microwave, mini fridge, TV, and a coffee maker.

Welcome to my little Kansas getaway. The home has a very comfortable living room, a main floor bedroom with a queen bed and big closet, a nice little updated kitchen, and a bathroom with tub on the main floor. There is a 2nd bedroom on the basement level (stairs to access) with 2 full size beds along with washer/dryer. This home is only 1 block away from Main Street shopping, coffee, dining, a movie theatre, and a world-class Motorcycle museum. This house is not handicap accessible.
