Kellys place was perfect for our family. The location is close to many of the areas local attractions and the peaceful tranquility of the deck and watching so many species of birds in the yard was incredible! We would stay here again.

This beautiful home was nestled into beautiful surroundings. The home has floor to ceiling windows with vast views of the wonderful landscaping and surrounding hillside. The host was very responsive to our needs. The gardener was very kind and helpful. The garden was full of lush produce that we were allowed to help ourselves to. There are trails behind the home which led to a beautiful little waterfall. I highly recommend this home for your stay.

A great option for the weekend! The house is very nice and cozy. It's very well distributed, which makes each stay very comfortable. We found the house very clean and organized and there was absolutely nothing missing. Clothes, plates, cutlery, toilet paper, good internet… What the description of the house says, it complies fully. Access was easy and very safe. The balcony with bench and table in front of the house has a view towards the wind towers, and is ideal for photos and videos. As we arrived in the middle of a cold front, we realized that the house isolates very well against the cold and the wind that were quite strong on the two nights of stay. Karina left us the house ready and made sure we were at ease. If you need to buy any groceries, the center of Tilarán is close by and has everything at hand. The views in the village are also breathtaking by the proximity of the wind towers. I would definitely come back again if I'm in the area.

Our family has a wonderful stay at Ulfran’s! Ulfran cut down coconuts for our family and taught us how to open them. The property is beautiful and filled with birds and monkeys. We loved being woken up by howler monkeys every morning! The location was very close to many activities… Sloth’s paradise down the road was the highlight of our trip! We saw frogs, eyelash viper snakes and sloths up close and in their natural habitat (not a zoo or caged area - completely natural).

Johanna's place was amazing. You are a 5-10 minute to the center of the town and all the restaurants and shopping. However, the place feels isolated like you are within the Cloud Forest. Not have direct access to the kitchen via the hallway from the bedrooms was exactly the way it should be when you are wanted to be as much outside as possible. Johanna was a wonderful host and very responsive with my many questions.

We wanted a place closer to the Liberia airport. Casa Azul is an adorable home in a safe neighborhood. Arturo provided clear and easy instructions. The home is well equipped. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the evening.

This was a spacious house and well worth it for the price! My girls were looking forward to the fruit trees but the garden doesn’t seem to be in its former glory. The location is very close to lots of fun tours and excursions! Adolfo was very communicative and responsive.

The only thing I regret about my stay at Albita’s place is that it wasn’t longer. In short, it’s a little gem of a house with the most stunning sunsets you can imagine. Being greeted with a rainbow in the morning and having coffee on the deck as you watch the clouds move around the mountains is sublime. Albita is a fantastic host: generous, responsive and extremely helpful. And Santa Elena is a cool little mountain town. Bon Appetit! and the Monteverde Brewing Company are great dining options close by.

This is a perfect little casita in the cutest of towns. It was quick and easy to walk into town and find groceries, watch local sports and even catch an annual fiesta! The house has everything you can possibly need and sits on a hill overlooking the area. Neal and Diane (along with sweet little Fanny and Albert) are amazing hosts. So kind and helpful with whatever you will need. Absolutely loved this space and would recommend to anyone!

Loved our stay here! The view was incredible, the rooms were very nice, and the outdoor space was lovely. Vivian also let us use the large pool at the next door property since it wasn’t occupied which was very nice!! Definitely recommend staying here.

We spent four amazing days at Venado Valley Ranch. From the very beginning, we felt at home thanks to the warm welcome from Sandra. There is so much to do and experience here. Our children, aged 9 and 11, were constantly entertained by all the animals and activities. Ronald guided us on a beautiful tour through the river to the waterfall, where we had a wonderful swim at this unique spot. The horseback ride with the whole family through the mountains was fantastic. Milking the cows and making sugarcane juice were also great experiences. Breakfast and dinner were prepared by Damaris – what delicious meals she made! We truly enjoyed every bite. The accommodation itself is really special. Our kids even had their own room, where Smokey the house cat came to keep them company. They said these were the best days of the entire vacation. But beyond the location, it’s the people who made it truly special. Thank you so much for taking such good care of us, Sandra, Ronald, and Damaris!

Spectacular view and location. Definitely recommend

Greetings, I wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. We loved the views of the lake and mountains. The view from the living room is a constant reminder of the incredible natural beauty of Arenal. We enjoyed how the morning light fills the house, especially the main bedroom. We cooked almost every day. Great stove and a well equipped kitchen was a plus and saved us a lot of money. The house is cozy with great views. The grounds are beautiful and enhance the surrounding natural beauty. We really enjoyed the quiet comfort of the house and the environment you have created. Nice quiet spot for the night. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect spot to be able to get around the Arenal and surrounding area. If you’re looking to have a centralized home base that you can travel to many attractions from, this is a great spot. Petra and her husband Rudi were very accommodating. Petra messaged us daily to make sure we were doing alright and to suggest places to go. The home itself was spotless and comfortable. My wife and I enjoyed drinking our coffee on the porch and watching the nearby animals (cows, egrets, toucans, and geckos.) We would highly recommend this spot and the hosts to anyone visiting the area. Pura Vida!!

Mabel is a wonderful host and you even get breakfast! The apartment is furnished with a lot of love and you have a beautiful view of nature.

We really loved this Airbnb. The small casita was very comfortable, had great views, friendly animals that came to say hello regularly and was close to lots of activities near the lake and town. The space felt clean, super safe, and homey. We will definitely book again, our favorite place near the lake so far!!

Charles was a great host. He checked in several times to be sure all was going well. The apartment was an easy walk to town. There are four other apartments in the building and all the other residents are long-term renters. They were friendly and helpful. The back porch had a beautiful view of the lake framed by rainforest vegetation. There is a side-benefit, too ... there is a wonderful restaurant right on the property. Don't miss having lunch or dinner there. I would rent there again.

Ana was an amazing host who was very responsive and helpful. She was welcoming, and the place was clean and as described. Would highly recommend staying here. Everything was clean, well maintained, and in a beautiful area. Host was extremely helpful and made us feel at home.

This is an excellent pet friendly house to stay. Neighborhood is quiet, secure, and surrounded by nature. Extreme Adventure Canopy Park is a walking distance. 100% Adventure park is 1.6 miles away. The house has 2 bedrooms, each equipped with a queen and a twin to accommodate up to 6 people. Each bedroom comes with bathroom and hot water. It has parking lot too. The kitchenware level is basic but enough to prepare quick meals such as spaghetti, omelets, coffee, etc. The house it has also laundry room. Yorlenny is an excellent host and she can also give you very good tourism recommendations in the area. I stayed with my family for two days and normally I like to rent outdoor houses surrounded by nature and quiet neighborhoods to rest fully and recharge the batteries for the next adventure.
