On the outside you will find a large lovely terrace with patio table and chairs, parasol and some sun loungers. In the summer it is sun in the terrace from about 9-20. The house is located on a slope and on the plot a rippling stream flows, soothing and quiet. There is a 7-minute walk down to the fjord, where you will find a beach with the jetty.

By car about 25 minutes to Strömstad about 15 minutes to Nordby shopping about 15 minutes to the Norwegian border about 20 minutes to the sea about 12 minutes to the highway

The place is perfectly located between Fredrikstad, Halden, the Swedish coast and Vestfold. You can arrive and have a car parked on the property, but if you have a boat then this is a connecting point for so many amazing excursions. You can easily go to Skjærhalden, Søndre or Nordre, Edholmen, Strømstad, Koster, Engelsviken or into Fredrikstad. A short trip can be to visit the different restaurants Hvaler Islands have to offer and a longer trip can be Grebbestad or Tønsberg and others.

Great cabin where you live "on" the water. The cabin is located at Ystehede, by the Iddefjorden, about 10 km from the center of Halden. Here, guests have access to a floating jetty with a bathing ladder, as well as a beach consisting of stone and sand. Here there is outdoor furniture, a gas grill and opportunities to moor your own boat. Here there are many hiking trails in the forest and if you have your own boat you can fish or take the sea route to Halden and on to the Hvalerøyene.
