All the basics you need, bed, chair, table, kitchen, bathroom and then your own outside eating area and bath on the deck under the veranda. Bike track and reserve between the cottage and lake. Just a 15 minute walk along the lakefront to shops and cafes.

Our guests recommend a two night stay minimum in this area. Milford Sound and Doubtful Sound are renowned tourist destinations. Also walks in Fiordland National Park and a local bike trail. No cleaning fee.

Mararoa Cottage, Te Anau - peaceful, rural.

If you are looking for a beautiful rural setting (fifteen minutes drive from Te Anau and Manapouri), this little cottage could be just what you need. It has lovely views and is clean, cosy and well equipped. We have strict cleaning protocols and allow two full days between all bookings. Suitable for two adults but not for infants or children.
