“Great house. Completely complete, fully equipped, smart and beautifully decorated, and a lot more spacious than I expected. The location is beautiful. We also used the canoes and the boat, so much fun that you can! Everything was perfect, we really enjoyed this beautiful place on the water.”
Een klein gastenverblijf in de vorm van een blokhut in een geweldige grote tuin omgeven door water in een fantastische mooie omgeving. (landelijk gelegen).Tijdens uw verblijf uw eigen 'eilandje'.
“Barend and Astrid received us warmly! The cottage was very clean and equipped with everything. From a good mattress to a fully equipped kitchen. From a jar of homemade jam to bathrobes in the bedroom. There is always a place to sit in the garden. And it is so wonderfully quiet! Cycling, reading books, eating on the water, the house is highly recommended for a few quiet days. And if you want more crowds, Dordrecht is about 10km by bike. Thanks for all the hospitality!”
A unique historic holiday home in the green heart of the Randstad. The mill stump has been restored, but the unique features have been preserved. There are many places of interest at a relatively small distance. We can arrange a trip for everyone: by bike or boat to UNESCO World Heritage site Kinderdijk, strolling through the historic center of Dordrecht or entertainment in the Biesbosch. There is also much to see and do within the Alblasserwaard.
“If you're looking to relax and enjoy the serenity of being in an old mill surrounded by lush lawns and shady corners to read or nap in, this is the place for you. It is also within walking distance of an adorable, friendly village. Bring your bicycles because this is where you can spend an entire day, week or month exploring on safe, beautiful trails. The cities are all also an easy bus, train or car ride away. For the rainy or chilly days there are two fireplaces, one inside and one outside in a walled seating area, where horses, cows, chickens and peacocks will stop by to visit. The home itself is also cozy. It feels like you're staying at a relative's home. Thank you to the owners for all that they've done for their guests.
