A hidden gem in Allen, N. Samar!! Thank you!

Very affordable for a beach front property and near enough to the Allen ferry port to make it convenient. It’s Pet friendly as well so we were allowed to stay there with our dog during our travels from Siargao to Manila. The car parking is on the local village road a 2 minute walk to the entrance of the property, so we felt a bit uncomfortable leaving all our packed stuff in the car Overnight. But there was no issue. ☺️ The bathroom is very small and just had a cold water hose for a shower, and the sink tap didn’t work during our overnight stay. But it was clean enough and functional enough. Aircon worked well. The beach looked very beautiful in the morning even on a rainy day. And the hosts were very responsive to help us check in late with the help of their caretaker Ronnel. We think this place is worth the affordable price.

My second stay at the Chateau and the place was perfect for my needs. Bill was very commutative with me at all times, even informing me of the planned power cuts in the area. The staff were excellent and always very helpful, when I bought a group of 18 for swimming, food and Kareoke they coped very well. ( thank you Wendy a goid time was had by all ! ) Bed and pillows super comfy, air con ok, restaurant and facilities excellent. There is now a new set of proper steps to the beach with handrails which is a great improvement. You will have the beach to yourself and perfect for a morning swim ! The location is 20 minutes from town in beautiful quiet surroundings away from the noise. Trycycles pass all day for around 30 pesos will take you to Calbayog Town. I will definitely return and would highly recommend this place for a nice relaxing stay.

The owner has a nice collection of art from around the world. I especially liked the decor throughout the house and the use of color and natural woods.

Es waren wirklich erholsame Tage. Wir konnten warm und kalt duschen, die drei Malzeiten waren gut und ausreichend, wir haben nichts entbehrt und wir kommen wieder. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet der Pacific zeigte sich von der besten Seite, wie der Service des Hauses. Danke für die schönen erholsamen Tage am weissen Strand Langtaran.

Sobrang sulit ng stay namin at napaka ganda ng room. Complete sa gamit plus mabango and super lamig pa ng AC. Malapit din sa mga pamilihan at sakayan. Super maayos pa kausap ni boss Arnel. Balik kami sa susunod na visit sa Catarman. Salamat!
