Outside, under the stars, you can enjoy a Jacuzzi for 5 people. The water is cleaned by the owner. There are several terraces with outdoor furniture, barbecue hut, woodshed, pizza oven and gas grill. In summer it is possible to rent a small boat without an engine for 30 euros.

We welcome outdoor enthusiasts to our beautiful cabin in Holmsundfjorden in Gildeskål, 1 hour drive south from Bodø. The cabin is idyllic and undisturbed all the way down to the sea. The cabin has a boathouse with a 14-foot boat with 10 HP outboard motor. The cabin also has a great, private sauna barrel right by the water, and an outdoor jacuzzi (this is new as of July 2025). The house is located 6 km outside Bodø city center and 3 km from the university in a quiet area. The view is amazing and the fish bite from the rocks by the sea. It is a short way by car to Saltstraumen (one of the world's strongest tide streams). In the summer the midnight sun makes the night light and in the winter the northern lights dances in the skies. We have a nice cat but she can be kept outside if that is prefered.
